Last summer, I was at an event and when the National Anthem was sung, I was standing with my hand on my heart, looking at the symbol of our nation, and tears came to my eyes. The thing that had flashed through my mind, that brought those tears were "Death of a Nation." Our beautiful country is going to pieces in front of our very eyes. We used to stand, shoulder to shoulder, against the nations that would try to bring us down. Now we are busy fighting among ourselves. Republican vs. Democrat without a thought that we are on the same side, we are all part of the same country. A house divided cannot stand! We must unite once more, or we are lost.
You are a true American. What you said is so true and so beautiful spoken. Thank you A PRYOR VETERAN

I came across a situation where an individual knowingly discarded an American flag into the trash can like it was meaningless trash. A discussion ensued and this person said that it was just a thing and it was not disrespect of the American Flag. I informed this person that they were wrong. They brushed it off and they really don't care. Please give me your opinions on this and let me know what you think of a person who throws away the flag like garbage.
I, as a former veteran, am really offended when anybody disrespects the flag, because they are really disrespecting AMERICA. There is a proper way of disposing of the flag, and it certainl;y isn't throwing it into the garbage

I, as a former veteran, am very offended by anybody disrespecting the flag, for it is really AMERICA that they are disrespecting. There is a proper way of disposing of the flag, and it certainly is not throwing it in the garbage

I am a former veteran, and it really offends me to see anybody disrespect our flag, because they are actually disrespecting AMERICA, and all those that gave their life for it. There is a proper way to dispose of the flag, and it is certainly not throwing it in the trash. If I see anybody disrespect the flag I will let them know in no uncertain terms that I won't stand for it. God bless America, and all those that have given their all for her

That piece of fabric is the reason why we have the freedom in which we enjoy so much today. Many Men and Women have given their lives for that piece of fabric. Yes, indeed that is what i focus on. because I seem to have to work with one of those people that does not appreciate the freedom in which we enjoy today and thinks that the American is just that, a piece of fabric.

My GrandFather served in WWII under THAT flag. My Father, Vietnam, Me Desert Storm. I fly THAT flag at my house 24/7. hundreds of thousands gave their lives to defend THAT flag. If I see someone paying that kind of respect for THAT flag, you can bet your bottom dollar I'll step up and do something about it. For the rest of you, you are allowed to make these posts because of what THAT flag represents and who defended it. If you don't like it, stop posting and start walking. Thousands of illegals cross the border daily to get a piece of what THAT flag represents and you are welcome to take their place in Mexico.
God Bless America and THAT flag. Dispite what the sitting president and his czars trying to do to it.
You said exactly the way I feel about it, and I too, would do something about anybody disrespecting our flag. They need to realize it is not just a piece of fabric, but a symbol of America. When they disrespect the Flag, they also disrespect all that fought for that flag, My friends, brother, and myself. Enough said

Anybody who disrespects the flag is a thlilthy, disgusting, worthless, scared little coward and an embarrassment to all the rest of us Americans, and mostly to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. If it was my choice what would happen to that stupid worthless human being, I would just hang them, they deserve to hang. I'm sorry, is hanging somebody who desecrates the flag wrong in a free country, no. With out the flag there is no freedom. They deserve to hang, I am disappointed in the person who posted this because they didn't do more to the person who threw the flag in the garbage, I would have confronted them then beaten them. Hearing this story really was one of the worst parts of my day, I am disgusted sick, I am filled with rage and anger now.

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Leo

You need to vary your domestic routine slightly today to avoid feeling bored or restless, especially if the day threatens to be rather predictable. Think of ways to introduce a note of spontaneity into the proceedings, even if they're very minor, because they'll make you feel more lively and on the ball. If you're going shopping you'll be tempted by some impulse buys.
