A 25 year old man dies in the jail and the paper reports that it looked like he died of natural causes. 25 year old men do not just drop dead

Depending on the lifestyle of that person it is very possible. How is this any different than the teenager that drops over dead at school because they have a defective heart? It is not... All that natural causes means is that no one else helped them die. If you were to know that the person was extremely healthy and did not have any bad habits then your comment might have merit.
Unfortunately many people are not physically active and because of that more and more are dying because of it at earlier ages. Also many people ingest things that are not healthy which also shortens their life. Any of that could have been done long before the person was in jail. I would bet it is safe to say the person who died did not have a stellar lifestyle so there were probably contributing factors before the person was incarcerated.

I agree. Math is terrible for the body! If he was making it, breathing the fumes alone can kill someone.

Some of you all should head on over to the Jimmy Ferris thread and read the real truth. That being - the Sheriff's are out to get us all. Meth isn't a factor, just the cops.

I have news for you all. That man that passed is my little brother. I have known him all my life and we were as close as any brother and sister could be. I know he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. You can look up the history of Shane E. Krise andb that of who he was around at that time and you can judge for yourself. He never had a history of the meth factor. Besides the fact that there has been reports and lawsuits brought against the phelps county jail for the repeated miss treatment of inmates, Its a hell of a thing when you get called out of the blue from a woman that had the same thing happen to her nephew to find out that the young man was beat to death with no signs of on the outside but the inside to tell a diffrent [email protected]

I'm not here to judge or throw stones, I'm here to say I'm so sorry for your loss....no matter what happened, it's tragic and it's a loss. I pray you heal and move forward. One of the first steps in your healing would be to quit reading this junk! People are so heartless getting on a public forum throwing around ideas and thoughts of how your loved one died.....at your expense. Please, save yourself some heartache and quit reading this crap sweetie.

Just look at the number of lawsuits against PCSD RIGHT NOW for WRONGFUL DEATHS and maltreatment! its a shame that we cant trust those that are hired to PROTECT US! What ever happened to the police's REAL JOB of being "Peace Officers"? Agreed, cops do not make much money at all, so most go into this profession because of a power struggle. I was in a college class once, and a fellow police officer described his job as the cities "garbage collector" meaning he goes around and picks up the "garbage" meaning other citizens. Again, look up the current lawsuits against the city and it says it all! NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO HARM OTHER PEOPLE, TWEAKERS OR NOT, and I did not know this young man, but to automatically jump to the conclusion that he was on meth is also wrong. Anyone that has a drug problem deserves the respect and the option of rehab, not being killed and I have an ocean in arizona to sell you if healthy 25 year olds just die of natural causes while in jail! This should scare us all! We, as the citizens, have got to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Look at Jimmy Farris! lots of questions remain there! And Tom Aaron,(I hope he wins millions with his case against the county). That is the ONLY way this insanity is going to stop!

Actually, a law enforcement officers job is 'Law Enforcement'. It's really pretty simple. Legislaturs pass laws and the police enforce them. Nothing magical about. They are given the power of force to use against those who resist the application of laws instituted by duly appointed legislatures. Those who resist the enforcement of those laws are resisting the will of the people who elected the legislatures that enacted them. As for 'lawsuits' anyone can sue anyone for anything. Winning them is another matter. Simple being sued is not remotely an indication of any sort of wrong doing.

He wasn't killed for being on drugs, genius, he DIED FROM THE DRUGS HE TOOK! The problem with this country is that anyone can take some night school college classes because the government paid for them, and pretend they are 'educated', yet still can't utilize the most basic fundamental logical reasoning.

Have any of you had any coffee from McDonalds? You know, Coffee, that HOT drink that burns if you spill it on yourself. If you have and you spilled it on yourself then you must run and sue McDonalds. After all, you did it too yourself, but they made it and should be responsible for it no matter what. Unless you are a Police Officer, Doctor or other similar professional, then in today's society you are NEVER responsible for your own actions. It's always someone elses fault. I was abused as a kid. Mom and Dad spanked me. Everyone called me names when I was growing up. The neighbor is always yelling at me. Gagh....

rolla is a small town... if you look at the statistics you'll notice that the amount of people who have died at the hands or IN the hands of the law officers here is shocking. you shouldn't have to fear the 'public servants' who're getting paid with our tax dollars. not that this situation is anything like the keith d. or jimmy f. ordeal... but it still makes one wonder.#1 reason not to do illegal things in Rolla: The Police might kill you.
somebody needs to keep a closer eye on these authority abusing, heartless 'civil servants'. i know that not all of our officers are guilty of displaying this type of behavior but they work with the ones who do. and i'm betting that if they stepped up and said anything about how they felt they'd get canned... i shouldn't be typing this... i better lock my doors and windows... they're going to track my I.P. address and taze me to death. STOP RESISTING! STOP RESISTING! STOP BREATHING!
