Columbia firm announces launch of Lean Sigma Leaders program
Columbia, MO – November 29, 2012 – Most business experts agree that in the current business climate, improving service while reducing cost is the key to survival. The QL Group, in Columbia, MO has recently announced a unique training program that develops leaders to drive improvement efforts.
The Lean Sigma Leaders program trains participants to apply Lean and Six Sigma techniques to real-world challenges while providing an attractive return on investment to the organization. A typical program will include four companies with 2-3 participants each, who will engage in multiple, targeted improvement events. Participants do not need prior Lean or Six Sigma training.
“Our program is unique because we mentor Lean Sigma leaders in a variety of business environments and cultures”, says Steve Andriano of the QL Group.“This journeyman experience is critical to leadership development, but is also difficult to obtain in a typical career within a single organization.”
“In addition to preparing participants for the SME Lean Bronze and ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt certifications, we want to stress that our program isn’t just theory”, says Andriano.“These are real skills applied to real problems, and generally provide annual savings in the realm of six to seven figures, depending on the size and nature of the organization.”
Groups for 2013 are forming now. For more information visit www.theqlgroup.com
