Why all the trash talk about Rolla girls!? I know plenty of Rolla girls who aren't skanks or slutty!
And I think Rolla does need to get some more business's around here for entertainment and jobs! A mall would be nice!

Rolla has a big enough market for a shopping mall. Every single person in this town has traveled 1-2 hours to go to the malls. It would keep our money local and it would increase the much needed jobs and bring in others to shop in our community why drive 2 hours when I could drive 30 minutes? It would definitly be an improvement to our community thats for sure. We have way to many loan and cash advances in this town!!! There either needs to be a limit on how many of those or on their interest rates. If we can allow so many of those in our great city why cant we allow a strip club because the cash places are just as trashy and keeps the trash in our town. Or wait thats the insane amount of low income housing in our town.

Interesting that your IP says you are in Jeff City.
Have you been to the Jeff City Mall lately? Looked like a ghost town last time I was there! Of course you think a mall would flourish in Rolla. Tell slumlord Billy Brown he should build a mall for you.

So, move closer to a mall. I used to live by malls, now I live here, because I like it here. You don't have to live here. A lot of people move here and start trying to get everything they had somewhere else built here. They can't help it they're stupid. The Center is a fine example. There is no way Rolla can support such a thing. It is roughly modeled around the Rec-Plex in St. Peters built with Olympic swimming and diving money and supported by a huge population of upper middle class. We don't have that and never will. The Center was built with no money and is supported by discounts for low income people. Doesn't add up does it?

Agree 100%
There is an expensive lesson to be learned from the Centre. But it is lost on most of the hammerheads around here.
