<![CDATA[ROLLA, Mo. (AP) -- A memorial service has been planned for a Missouri Science and Technology student found dead in her dorm. The service for Kaitlin D. Brown will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, at the Southwestern Bell Cultural Center, 1207 N. Elm St., on the S&T campus in Rolla. A candlelight vigil will follow at the Puck on campus. Missouri S&T students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend both events. Brown, 19, was from Mission, Kan., and was a sophomore business and information technology student at Missouri S&T. Her body was discovered on Saturday, March 16, in Farrar Hall, the residence hall where she lived on campus. Rolla Police Chief Mark Kearse confirms Brown was found dead around 2:30 a.m. Saturday in her dorm suite. The cause of death has not been released. Kearse told the TV station police are involved because there were some circumstances surrounding the death that, as he put it, "we're not comfortable with." Copyright 2013 The Associated Press.
