Beware of taking things to Sellers auction. I took a trailer load there and they only took about a third to sell. The remainder was good stuff. Besides some collectable things, I don't think I got paid for and they were gone too. Just saying beware.

They suck. We stopped going when they were still at Paul's. He'd get pissed when stuff didn't sell high.

We entrusted Gregg with our property and he sold most of it but one of the items he thought was of no value and it ended up by the dumpster outside his place in Rolla. No phone call, no compensation. If we hadn't gone there to find it ourselves we wouldn't have known and he wasnt going to tell us. Also, some items were never accounted for in our sale inventory yet we were not compensated for those either. He treats our property as his. It is not. He is a middle man, we did not sell our items to him. I would avoid him as an auctioneer because he is not completely truthful about what he tells you up front. Seller beware.

I've always had excellent results with Sellers, whether buying or selling items. They are honest, friendly, and orofessional in every way.

We stopped going when he would no-sale things that had a decent bid. If there is no reserve, then it should be sold to the highest bid. Instead he gets huffy and says he can't sell it.

Greg also takes some items to keep for himself, I happened to have a list of my things or I wouldn't have known they were gone and not sold. My son and I saw our TV sitting out by the dumpster, had been there at least a week through snow and rain. When I asked Greg's son about it he told me a friend of his bought it and it fell out of the trunk of his car and wouldn't work anymore. When Greg got there he told me that he gave it to his son's friend and that it had fallen out of the trunk of his car. I said that it wasn't his to give away that he should have called me and told me that he couldn't get a bid on it and I would have come and picked it up as there was nothing wrong with it, it worked perfectly. After a long discussion he asked me how much money I thought that I should have gotten for it. I said between $20 and $50 as it was a $1200 TV 8 yrs. ago) He said he'd give me reimburse me $20 for it, of course I didn't get a dime for it. I don't recommend Seller's Auction to anyone selling their stuff, you'd be better off donating it to a nonprofit organization and taking it off your taxes.

Everything goes to high to the same bidders. Little suspicious cause they never take anything. The guys bring you the items when you win a bid but not these guys they keep it on the tables

Seems like its the same as always but now a new twist. Always thought a consignment auction was whatever was bid bought the item unless there is a reserve on the item stated before the aucion on that item. But not Sellers NOT ENOUGH WON'T SELL IT THIS WEEK. Saw items that were not sold one week in a locked case never returned to be sold again. Makes one wonder what happened to them.
And if you think you may find a good piece of jewelry think again now Sellers has all the test kits and scales. So much for a consignment auction.

The Sellers are good, honest people. Greg no-sales items sometimes when items don't bring even a reasonable bid. If I were to consign my items with him, I'd want him to hold onto items until another auction and try to get me the best price possible. It sounds like the people who are complaining are cheapskates who think they can get something for nothing and are mad because they were turned down. Some consigners may also have reserves set on their items, just like on Ebay. As for the comment that they "never bring items from the table", I'm not sure how many of their auctions you've been to, but they almost ALWAYS walk sold items out to the highest bidder, unless it's a lot with multiple pieces or something ridiculously heavy.

Out of curiosity, was it one of the old cabinet TVs that look like a piece of furniture? If that's the case, it's not surprising no one bid on it. You can barely give those things away.

I dont know these auctioners but will tell you one thing. If you are an autioneer and stay in business very long and arent crooked to some extent. You are one in a million. Ive not seen a single auctioneer in my whole life that doesnt at least do very questionable things and most are down right crooked. It just seems to go with that sort of business. Not that im judging auctioneers or even care. Its just the way it is. I go into auctions knowing this and take my chances. They are good places to get took to the cleaners but also good places to get very good deals at times.

I have seen greg going through tools and stuff before sales that I don't see later .And I agree unless there is a reserve put on an item it is SOLD and greg wont take an opening bid unless its what he thinks it should be and then gets very arrogant and nasty thats why we quit going to him in the old auto auction and we've been to his new one him and cody haven't changed a bit. I personally would not recommend them to any buyer or seller.it should be assholes auction..
