And it doesn't change anything, either.

You can do better things with your life that make the world a better place, I'm sure of it.

Thank you President Obama for keeping us safe. No airplanes flying into skyscrapers is good enough for me. I don't rely on the Federal Government for much else. Most issues are local.

I can only assume this was directed at me.

Criticizing Obama changes everything. He monitors all my communication. Of course that doesn't say much since he is monitoring everyone's communication.

Get serious folks. Gays, abortion, Jim Crow and making stupid comments about the president are all the GOP has.

The governments left teat and big bro changing your little bottom is what the other side has to offer, and I don't even have much use for the GOP.

I mean, this Killa guy and all those like him spend a huge amount of time on here complaining and saying "Obama-this!" and "Liberal-that!" but none of it really changes anything. It's not a very good return on investment, if you ask me.

Also, I can't help but notice that not much of what Obama does really affects you and me, besides maybe giving us something to talk about.

Really, does Obama change how much you work? Is there anything you can't do now that you could before because of Obama? Have you lost anything because of Obama? Has anything changed in your day to day life because of Obama?

Any rational person would give a resounding "No" in response to all of those questions. However, I have a feeling that Killa and those who are like him will disagree with me and say that their lives are really different because of Obama. Actually, I don't see how they could be.

Pam I understand where you are coming from, as a small business owner I can personally say with a resounding yes that that the job Obama is doing will have a direct effect on me, and will have a direct effect on how much a lot of people work after the ACA is fully implemented. I hate that health care costs are through the roof, but this is not the answer.

You live In a cocoon of ignorance. Don't assume your world experiences are others and you will appear far more prescient.

Because you anticipated my response, I'll jump to the next step of actually demonstrating. The smallest decisions at the highest levels percolate throughout the economy causing profound effects. Here is one such example...

When Bernake raises interest rates by just a quarter point, that has the effect of putting fewer dollars into the economy and fewer jobs are created. You see it as fewer employment ads in the newspaper. A business owner sees it as having a higher chance of getting rejected on a loan or a higher interest rate. The higher interest rate means fewer dollars to hire. The retired see it as bond values going lower and their income declining. The nations economy shows it as a slowing GDP.

Now, does the employee make a connection that they don't have a job because Obama appointed Bernake? Does the business owner make the connection that they got rejected for a loan because Obama appointed Bernake? Does the retired person on a declining fixed income make a connection that they can no longer afford food because Obama appointed Bernake?

I do.

Those are the short term consequences. I'm not suggesting that raising interest rates is always bad. But the effects are VERY consequential. And it all happens because of the president whether you are capable of tracing it to him or not.

One correction. The retired income doesn't go lower. Their portfolio/bond values drop.

I have to be driven to this. Education is the last resort when ignorance is prevailing. I can tolerate a certain level of ignorance because it allows me to pursue my interests in peace. But when government becomes so over burdensome and threatening to private citizens, I have no choice. I can tolerate a Bush or a Clinton. I can celebrate a Reagan. But Obama brings a dangerous level of incompetency that truly threatens America's place in this world. We have already seen the financial consequences and the political consequences are unfolding before our very eyes. It will take many years to come out of this mess and there will be lasting effects for decades if not centuries.

Obama will not suddenly become competent. He is who he is. And I fully intend to point out whom he is until 2016 or his impeachment and conviction.
