Because of my deep compassion, I am creating this thread for liberals to come on and reminisce about the good old days when they got to sit on the couch and watch Opera all day on the taxpayers dime. You can complain about no longer getting lobster and prime rib, and now have to downgrade to Campbell's soup and chicken. Or you can complain that Obama just didn't get enough time and the recovery was already well underway.

So everyone that is liberal doesn't work and instead sits on the couch, watching TV & eating on the Government's dime? Interesting. I'm liberal, work full-time and I pay my own bills. And I really don't care for lobster.

Why would you paint everyone with the same brush? I'd venture to guess that just as many "conservatives" milk the system as any other group. But there are also lots of honest, hard working people who need a helping hand.

I agree that helping people who won't help themselves isn't a good strategy. But I also think that helping those who truly need the help is what compassionate, decent human beings should do.

It's important for working liberals to understand what their counterparts are often engaged in. Liberals are no more monolithic than conservatives in the general sense of the term. Many libs are smart people who have simply never been exposed to the truth. Once you start realizing that 49 million people are on food stamps, more than $1 trillion was spent on welfare last year, you begin to realize that a large percentage of these people are milking a system that has been set up to be abused. I don't even blame the people on these programs. One would be stupid to refuse the free money the government steals from the working people of America. But it is liberalism that supports these policies and it is done so by liberals to put people on these programs, make them dependent, and then get them voting for this dependency. Those votes are given by the dependent to the liberals that enable these programs. If you are voting for liberals, you are a liberal.

(CNN) After an evening of light-hearted jabs, President Barack Obama returned to his cutting criticism of rival Mitt Romney Friday, accusing the GOP nominee of forgetting the hard right positions he took during the GOP primary in order to seem more moderate.

Obama, speaking at a rally in the Northern Virginia suburb of Fairfax, told the crowd his opponent was suffering "Romnesia" after seeming to change his position on contraception, coal, equal pay, and taxes.

"He told folks he was the ideal candidate for the tea party," Obama said of Romney's stance during the primary season. "Now suddenly he is saying 'what, who me?' He is forgetting what his own positions are and he is betting that you are too. I mean he is changing up so much, back tracking and sidestepping."

Check other threads. I'm not going to go through the Florida 141% voting, or the Philly 0 Republican votes when Republican officials get kicked out, or the Ohio officials voting multiple times, or the election judge wearing an Obama hat or the mural of Obama on the wall. I just don't have the time to repeat it all.

Trouble with your ravings is they can ve checked out and the sources tested. Matthews was critical of the sources that reported the so called voting irregularities, right wing blogs, wishful thinking by wingnuts quoted by others, and claimed to be fact. Much like the fool 1/2 term governor who claimed death panels existed in the PPACA. Hitler was a master of saying it loudly and repeating it until it was taken as fact.

Hiel Killa long live your fantasy!
