Just because the guy doesn't want to drink and party doesn't mean people can't be his friend....wait, it's Rolla high school. You can't have friends if you don't do stupid crap. Pickrell has goals and wants a good future. Not like u lame asses who aspire to do nothing.

Oh yeah, that solves all the worlds problems. Who would want some nasty chick from Rolla high school. They all sleep around. Find a real woman.

I think they need to put the whole coaches staffs heads on a platter......these idiots run the same plays over and over.... the other team dont even have to watch film on the Bulldogs....the only reason they keep playing the quarterback they have is because he is a Steelman....the real talent is on the bench i say let the backup play a game.....cant be no worse than what they have...And btw its a little different playing at the high school level than the RYF program

The Rolla freshman... Now seniors, class of 2013... And the freshman... Now sophomores... Class of 2015.... Have put up the best records in years... As freshmen against all the OC teams... How we have a loosing season is not possible given the stats. You have 2 young men as freshman running backs,(Pickrell 9th- satualla 9th) stacking major numbers against Lebanon, camdenton, waynesville, Kickapoo, hillcrest, ect. The only factor against these teams was dorial...and he is gone... In place...McCormick... Of rolla...He is as good as dorial... Just white lacking his 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade
quarterback!!! Point is... It takes a "team" to win... When the team turns against one another... You will lose every game!!!! Same for the parents!!! And the high school school coaches need to watch RYF at the track on sat to see the up and coming players... Proof is in the stats every game... And compare " oranges to oranges " not grapes to apples. Agree that coaches from jr high have a winning record... And they get to know their players on a less stressful level... Just guessing of coarse... I'm just a fan thro the years.

ryf and eight and ninth grade teaches great basics by the time these boys get to hs they have played football for five years. i realize the difference between hs and ryf but i see the hs coach fine tuning these young men and handling them a playbook and working on the plays. Being a lineman the only thing i understand is blocking and tackling but that seems to be what we need most.

I know ryl football has good intentions, its just not where it needs to be. Recently I moved to Rolla from St. Charles and they had an incredible youth program, rolla's is terrible. It starts young, kids in stl have way better coaching than here in rolla. It would also help if kids here had size. I would be willing to say most of the hs starters average about 6' most surrounding area teams rolla plays the kids are giants compared to rolla kids.

I agree that the now senior class should have been alot better team.....i think if i recall they won almost all their games .....You cant even compare Doral Green to McCormick....An if you ever watched Green play you would know why....That kid is bigger faster and has a god given talent for the game

you guys are putting to much credit for ryf because 85 percent of those kids do not stick with the game , yes it does teach the basic fundamentals of the game and makes you understand the love for the game . I just think rolla has alot of wasted talent in the school district, to many kids get wound up with drugs.

drugs and driving diesel trucks and chasing women is more fun than working your butt off everyday. You cant be mad at the kids. if it was not for my parents making me play would do the samething they are.

The coaches are not the trouble here. It's the fact that there is no accountability on athletes! Back 12-15 years ago...athletes (football) were made to be in the weight room, it was an every thursday after practice routine. In time, parents complained that it was "too much" and so it was dropped from the program. RHS has no SIZE or strength to stop the other team what so ever. I still enjoy a good RHS football game win or lose, but nothing compares to the 1994 bulldogs...and obviously it's not going to be like that for several years to come...but you can't always blame coaches...

Well here coach have alot to do with it... Back last year as i recall the freshmen had a 8-0 seaon... But the year before the boys had a 0-6 seaon now tell me about that i think coach chance is by far the best coach in the rolla high school football program.. If u ask any of coach chances players they will never complain about him.. He is a great coach... But the promblem with no size is, is that they bring up all these kids as freshmen, and sophmores to go against full grown men, thats a promblem they younger guys havent seen that speed strenght and they arent that mature yet.. As a player you may think its cool but its not it could ruin that whole kids career. Like johnny a couple years ago they ran and ran and ran him and he had to get surgrey on his knees by the time he finished high school.. The point here is they dont need to break up the grades they need to work as a team and live/work as a team not all this bullshit
Yeaahhhh buddy

Take bets on an 0-10 record? I'll put my money on it. You reap what you sow, and we see the real benefits of politics in high school sports.

In case you didn't know there are no benefits to being political, and whatever your "last name" happens to be

I'm tired of people talking crap on the boys and coaches. They're your team. Win or lose, that's your team out there.. If you think we could do better how about you sign up to be a player or coach next year and see how that goes for you? Our boys work 110% and give their all everytime they go out there. Win or lose, those are your bulldogs out there, trying. Which is something you aren't doing.
