Don't feel bad. I didn't expect an answer.
The problem is, low skills equal low pay. You can artificially jack wages to match America, but the country's output is the same. So the value of their currency is simply reduced by inflation.
You can force them to add expense by improving work conditions, but the owners will move to a cheaper country if you force too much. Then everyone loses their job.
You can force products to be made in America. But then they are more expensive, and America's standard of living drops.
The best thing you can do is let the free market work. If barriers to entry are kept low, many sweatshops will be set up. Competition for workers begin. Efficiencies improve. Output improves. The value of the worker improves. The workers gets paid more. The conditions of employment improve. Eventually there is so much excess production, they can start pretending like they are the moral police as well and try to dictate failure like you do.
Why should I feel bad, you asked me a question, I answered {twice}and you then came off with some nonsence like actually you knew what you were talking about.

And you're right "you didn't actually expect an answer" due to the simple fact I answered, and you could not accept that point.

I didn't think it would. You have a big ego with nothing to back it up but a piece of paper you point to to try to compensate.

The smart PHDs don't need to make sure everyone knows. They prove it with the brilliance of their words and keep the PHD for the resume.

China is a great example of the brilliance I just pontificated. They said f u to liberals and allowed sweatshops. Today, they are losing their sweatshop competitive advantage because the employees are able to demand more benefits. Companies are having to locate their sweatshops in poorer countries. Ultimately, if those countries are left unmolested, they will rise out of poverty as well.

Are you serious? Did you consider some third world areas who have had sweat shops for centuries and never rose out of poverty? Philippines, Haiti, India, Pakistan, etc..

Did you consider that sweatshops are not the only building block of a successful country?

Good. Because my PHDs are irrelevant. They just say someone else accepted me. I prove everything with my words.

Hostess did go out of business because of the bakers union dummy! All of the other unions agreed to a pay cut over a number of years except the bakers union, they said no deal, hostess told them either take it or they would declare bankruptcy. Yes the executives are looking for a retention bonus and why not? Yeah it sucks that 18,500 people are out of a job, but thats a union for you.
The company would have went bankrupt regardless. Also, where would the pay cuts stop? When hostess says" well we aren't making enough money, lets cut the workers hours."

CB! Who gives a crap about sweat shops? You like 99% of Americans buy products from countries that have them. Get off of your high horse. You shop at Walmart/Kmart like everyone else. We are all looking for the lowest price. You are such an ass. I really think that you ate retarded. If you are then i'll tell KTC to stop schooling your stupid ass.
