As much as I hate to disagree with someone that has a fine name like yours, I gotta say; if they made big block ls engines, it would help a little... But idk if it would ever be as efficient as the diesels. They are here to pull and they brought their a-game.
A long stroke big block LS with forced induction is the only way to go to even try to compete. Even then my expectations for something with those torque numbers is pretty hard to compete with.

They did make the big block in the Chevy fuel injected it was a 8.1 which is a 502 replica available through 2002-2008, what a gutless wonder this was just like the old 460 ford and 454 Chevy.

Ya dumbass 4k for twins. Its called a mild setup using the stock turbo along with another one. And the reason noone has one is because 4k is expensive to put in just turbos. And fuel upgrades are free up to say 450 hp on a ppumped 12valve.

Actually just so you all know you can put COMPOUND turbos on a cummins for $2800. That's not including the headstuds obviously or labor. You don't put twins on diesels..... And you don't need compounds to have a fast truck, they are just nice to help keep things cooler. A silver bullet 66 will support over 700hp. The majority of kids that romp black smoke all around Rolla have nothing more than a programmer. I can think of a couple trucks that where actually built the correct way that would actually be something worth takin about on here....

You can put twins on a diesel stupid ass. If you didn't no there are v8 diesels that can easily accommodate twins... Pardon my grammar for calling compounds twins since your not smart enough to make the connection. And you can do what you want with yours but when you sink twelve grand in just a truck with no mods others tend to take care of their rigs.

I can promise you every single red cent spent on my truck was with MY money. I'll agree there are some spoiled kids in this town, and I apologize to the kid who started the forum for the ignorance that has taken it over, but the fact is, most of us who have diesels bought them to be able to pull our cattle and horse trailers while still getting decent fuel mileage. Also, my truck is hardly ever clean. I do construction for a living, so I work out of my truck. I understand someone disliking diesels, but like everything, there are pros and cons for owning one. Since I own a bike myself, I think it's extremely rude to ever "smoke someone out" on a bike, but just because a diesel smokes a little bit, and I understand some kids do it to an annoyingly excessive amount, doesnt mean it's not tuned right or isn't producing big power. This argument over how stupid diesels are or how great they are is ridiculous. If you don't like them, I suggest never owning one. Pure and simple.

Also, 08 powerstrokes came twin charged from the factory, so twins really isn't that unheard of. Wide-open diesel is actually making a triple charger kit nowadays.

If the V8 Diesel Engines are so much better than the Inline6 engines then why is it that the major Diesel industry's only make the I6 engines instead of the V8s back in the 70s and 80s.. Semi truck still to this day mostly run I6 engines.. Don't get me wrong the v8 is potent but those Inline6 engines are the way to go if your pulling loads.
