Thank you for saving the federal government more than $2 billion annually by eliminating Saturday mail deliveries. Now let's just hope republicans on Congress don't try to block this like they did lady time USPS tried to do this.

Come on. You and I both know that if Obama had increased spending by $2 billion you would be outraged. But when he cuts 2 billion it's not worth talking about. Hypocrisy much????

I'll give Obama credit when his lowest deficit isn't more than twice the highest deficit ever under any other president.

Actually, everything except 1st class mail will still be delivered on saturdays. Boxes, things of that nature.
And won't congress have to vote on this. They are the ones that wrote the rules for the USPS to begin with?
Yes. That's why I said in my initial post that I hope the republicans in Congress don't try to block this from happening and thereby cost us $2 billion dollars.

Just eliminate the entire USPS that would save vastly more money. If Barry eliminated Saturday mail deliveries and passed the savings on to the American people, you'd have a point. Instead, you're just jockniffing for any reason to try and argue Barry-boy is remotely fiscally responsible. Believe me, the fact that this man is projected by his own numbers to add more to the US debt in 8 years that ALL PREVIOUS PRESIDENTS COMBINED in the two centuries of this countries existence makes your statement laughble.

Here's a hint......You parasites worship Barry because he promises you free stuff from other people's wallets, NOT because you think he's going to trim anything.

Exactly! Get rid of the Post Office. It sucks and couldn't hold a candle to the free market without laws protecting them.
