Five days ago republicans in the House refused to consider Boehner`s "Plan B," which would have raised taxes only on people making over one million dollars because they refused to raise any taxes at all. If they had passed that there's a good chance the Senate would have been forced to pass legislation much closer to that plan B bill. Now they ate set to vote to pass this Senate bill that raises taxes on anyone making over $400,000. What a bunch of idiots.

False. The bill is much more complicated than that one issue. I have read several articles today about how much Obama "caved" on to make the final deal happen.

The only people schooled was the taxpayers. Taxes are going up 2% on everyone no matter what is passed.

Now that this BS cliff nonsense has been dealt with we're going to see a massive strengthening of the Tea Party within the GOP through 2014.

This is great news for Democrats.

Republicans will turn on their own, much the way they did going into 2010, only this time independents and mainstream voters have seen what the Tea Party is and abandoned it in droves since 2010.

We'll have a bunch of far right Allen West/Todd Akin types winning GOP primaries, shoving out moderate Republicans, which will stand very little chance at winning these Congressional seats in a general election.

This vote will be one of the largest steps we will probably witness as the Tea Party continues to destroy the GOP.

What was meant to take down President Obama, and failed, will ultimately be the mechanism which tears apart the GOP.

Thank you, Rush, Carl, Sarah, and 8 years of GWB and Cheney.

Another false. I am a Democrat who is disgusted at how much Obama gave up in the last two days. When you control the Senate and the Presidency, there is no excuse for allowing the opposing party to dictate the terms as much as was done here. I see this as a massive loss for the Democrats, and I am not pleased about it.

Where have you been following how much Obama has been giving up in the past two days? Oh...FOX NEWS. You are a Democrat and you follow FOX NEWS.

It really is hilarious, how you teabaggers think Romney lost because the "messaging was muted" or whatever it is your fearless teabag leaders blamed the latest butt-whipping on.

G'wan over to this place http://www.charliedanielssoapbox.com/ and you can join in the conversation about how the repuglicans weren't "conservative enough," and ignore the fact you're just deceiving yourselves about the demographic changes in the country, how you utterly alienated all but the most docile, stupid and beaten-down women in the nation. Never mind you had a "black" candidate who brought to mind the Uncle-Tom nature of Lincoln Theodore Monroe Andrew Perry. Yeah that's right, killa and bloodfart, go look it up.

Just stick to your principles into the next election cycle and the one after that. You won't even have Kansas or Nebraska any more, just the deep south (minus Texas), Idaho and Utah. Even Montana was close to going blue. You've permanently lost Ohio and Pennsylvania, after all the anti-union nonsense of the past two years.

Face it, you're washed up, finished in this country and you won't be allowed to move your money offshore unless you go with it, and continue to pay your American taxes as well as foreign taxes.

Somalia awaits. You'll be beyond the reach of the IRS, and you'll love the dusky-toned women. Oh wait, they all have AIDS. OK so you won't like your stay much, but you won't have to pay American taxes.

Republicans did the absolute right thing not passing Plan B. The key is in the language libs can use in the future. If they had passed plan B, they would have increased taxes and Libs would have tarred and feathered them. Now they are cutting taxes because technically we went over the cliff. It's all a language game, but language matters to the low information voters.

As far as this bill goes, I find it embarrassing that Boehner took it to a vote. The majority of Republicans voted against it. That tells me they didn't have the backbone to stand for their convictions. They simply wanted to have a no vote on their record. It was the cowards way out.

Just go to Google and search for "Obama caves"...only one result is from Fox News, and I haven't read that one. There is even one on there from huffingtonpost! The ones I originally saw we're just featured articles on Google News.

Sorry. Not a troll. So guess what? Yep...false again!:)
