yeah, felons are of no value no matter how long they have done good. also dont have a need or right to be safe, prepared, or to defend themselves. like the colonies they have taxation without representation - perhaps they should do what the colonies did.

No offense just felons cannot carry firearms legally therefore dont make sense to have them in a militia however felons can own muzzleloaders and knives so protect your family

You are starting a militia and are concerned about something being legal?
I am thinking you need a new leader instead if a dumbass.

Last I heard certain felons could join the military if they were granted waivers and felons could own guns again if they had their records expunged. Depends on the crime and the right connections.*The number of felony waivers granted by the Army grew from 411 in 2003 to 901 in 2006, according to the Pentagon.

A felony conviction meets my criteria of a "bad person". What standard would be more accurate? Surely not the standards chosen by a convicted felon. Maybe the language that you used in your response
could be used as a measure of your "goodness".

well old man your definition is lacking. the system is corrupt so the labels it put on others is also corrupt. that not withstanding - people learn and change so dont be so fast to judge.

While you boys have fun and I'll just use a bunch of dead school kids to bring my version of an assault weapon ban into law. I guess you'll have to play soldier with single shot .22 rifles. And just think some of you jokers voted for me.

Bad language classifying a person as a bad person? You know what? Fuck that noise. That's a childish reason to classify someone as a bad person... You sir, is what is wrong with this overly sensitive, ignorant country. A person who makes mistakes and pays for that mistake has paid his debt to society and should be seen as such! IDK what the hell this has to do with a militia but that is just a back asswards way of looking at things. How many felonies have you committed today? Do you even know?(people commit felonies everyday that they aren't even aware of and the police aren't really clear on them either) Or is it just when people are caught that are bad... fuck your sensibilities, lil baby. Suck ya passy and leave the grown ups to the real debates. Have a nice day now, ya hear?

7 years ago i was convicted of MISDEMEANOR domestic violance because i hit a wall with my fist when my wife "and still my wife" attempted to stop me from walking away from a very heated arguement . i am not supposed to own a gun or buy one and i am not interested in making the lawyers and courts more money by having it expunged . I WAS NOT EVEN PUT ON PROBATION ! these misdemeanor laws should be looked at again by someone with common since and not by some politician with a pocket full of money from a lobyist!!
