What Consignment stores around here buy clothes straight out/give most money for your clothes.

I have been to Halos, and I think Consider the lilies closed. Any other good places around?

I have always taken my clothes to Flash Backs and Reruns in Church Hill. They have been there for at least 10 years so I feel comfortable with them.

By definition, consignment means the store will make an effort to sell it on your behalf and pay you a percentage of the selling price after the item is sold.

If you want money up front then you need to look at selling the item outright to a second hand store.

I have found "The Decor Exchange" in Mt. Carmel to be a very honest and reliable consignment store for FURNITURE and even after taking their percentage of the sale price I received far more than I would have gotten for my items in the classified or at a yard sale.

I second Flash Racks & Reruns as being reputable and well established. My wife has purchased clothes from them for years. Often the clothes are new with original price tags still attached.

Consignment Store? Shucks, I wear my clothes for so long, if I took them to a consignment store, they would look at them, then when they finished laughing they would tell me to take them to a dumpster. My son-in-law was working on his truck the other day and had grease all over his hands. He ask me if I had any rags. I told him yes, I'm wearing them. Hee! Hee!

I work at Halo's and we give money up front for American Eagle, Hollister, Aeropostale, and Abecrombie and Fitch clothes...the only problem is we only give 25% of whatever we think it will sell for because it may not sell for a long time and then we have to make it 75% off. But when you consign clothes with us its 50-50 so for alot of our consigners they recieve a good amount of money twice a month.
