Now how is expired tags dangerous? Is it any of your business caroline? Lady you better mind your business on things like that cause you never know the situation of that person. Now I pay all my tags, license and insurance and yeah I really don't like the fact that people don't have insurance sometimes. That don't give you the right to go call the cops on somebody. Who the hell do you think you are?!

True nobody has ever died from expired tags or revoked drivers license. I do agree though if I got to pay to tag my vehicles every year they can too, they aren't any better that the rest of us. Time are tough all over, so don't give us that I can't afford it crap either.

I agree too they should as well get all their stuff too, but all I am saying maybe they are on their way or just hasn't got the time right then when you see them or maybe just forgot about the tags. I forgot about my tags one time, but it didn't take long for me to get them either.

Just leave folks alone. Tags are none of anyone's business. Besides, the convenience center operators are told to watch for them and they will not let you dump your trash if you don't have current tags! That's how I found out that I had forgotten to put my sticker on, so I went home, put it on and all was fine. Worked out better than if some nosy neighbor turned me in and I had to end up paying court costs over forgetting to put the sticker on.

Well I know someone who was killed in a single car crash not too long ago and they were driving on expired license. Now why don't you renew your license?? He also was driving on tags that were expired. He also was legally DUI. No, the revoked stuff didn't kill him, his irresponsibility about everything, including getting behind the wheel of a car is what killed him. I think in life you are supposed to be more responsible. God Rest My Friends Soul. I wish I had known.....I would have drove him home. Choices.....we all have em.........

Well my 2 cents.... I recently had a experience. I/we have or had 4 vehicles. ALL insured and tags on them all. I had been driving one back and forth to work that was easier on gas lately. I bought another vehicle from a friend and decided the one I had been driving mainly (for the past little while)I would sell and transfer the tags on it to the one just bought. Scared the crap out of me when I noticed the tags had been expired for 5 months. I went immediatly and got it took care of. But my point being this was a total accident. We double checked thru everything and had not recieved a renewal notice for this vehicle. When something like this comes in we put it right on the bulliten board so we can remember it. Had it for the others but not this one. We have been having problem with I am guessing sub mail carriers and we kept getting some people with a similuar address's mail and I would guess from other things we hadnt got they get ours too. Maybe that was what happened, dont know. But anyhow that was a total accident. myself and my wife have never had any dui's or not even a speeding ticket in years and always insurance on our cars. Does that make us dangerous?? Hardly, but stick your nose in our business might be another thing...lol Anyhow again my point is you dont always know the circumstances, accidents happen. In this fast paced world we live in those reminders/renewal notices need to come in the mail. If you see something maybe you should ask the person first before jumping the gun.

If you're going around playing Nancy Drew with others, then, just realize this regardless of how late they are on the expired tag that they will have to pay late fees regardless when they finally pay it up.

Yeah, I had an expired tag, but I could not afford it at the time. I was swamped in medical bills and car payments, while I was looking to gain employment that would allow me to cover all of my costs.

If you decide to make more havoc in a person's life than need be, just realize to not be too upset at the world when someone does not care to cut you any slack. One thing that I know is that if you are human, you walk in contradiction.

Remember that...

Of course, my car was about four years old, but I had insurance, so I guess that's my point.

If I did sweetie, I wouldn't report it. There is no danger to worry about. People are dangerous, not tags on a vehicle or expired license.

Many people do get caught and have to pay fines. Everyone doesn't get away with it. Some do but most don't.

Sometimes people just forget. I was parked at church one day and one of the men was standing behind my truck and noticed my tags were expired. He brought it to my attention and I took care of the sistution. I didn't know they were expired, don't pay attention to my tags. Lol.
