So I am a regular at the new ice cream and coffee place and I usually don't post on these kind of sites, but this morning I was left a little more than disappointed. And I think I need to let it be known. I walked into the shop at about 10am this morning and waited at the counter for good ten minutes before walking out. No one ever came to help me. I have never walked out of this shop before. Other places in Rogersville have left me down right pissed off, and I did not expect this from this place. After I left I sat outside at the tables for a minute because I wanted to see who was working because I wasn't sure if something else was going on and maybe there was a good reason for me having to wait so long. About 5 minutes later I observed a little mousy blonde girl with glasses walking out of what I presume was the office, ON HER CELL PHONE. I got up and walked off, almost convinced this would be my last trip to this location. However, I came back this afternoon to give it one more shot and the regular evening crew was right on top of things and took care of me right away. I love that place but that day shift girl with the glasses needs to go. She is going to destroy that business.

So one bad experience is all it takes for you to write off a business that you openly admit has given you good service every other time? I bet you have had a fun social life. Instead of dragging one of the few good businesses in this town onto a site like topix, as a loyal customer, why didn't you just mention something to one of the regular crew when you saw them? I've been there half a dozen times since it opened & I've never been nothing less than very happy.

And you all say they're isn't any decent girls in rogersville. Doesn't sound like they're any decent men in rogersville.

It doesn't matter how the servers look it's the service you get that counts. the owner needs to be told about this so she can address it with her. This type of behavior will hurt the business. Cell phones should not be allowed during work hours, even if no one is in the store. That is the problem with so many business' in Rogersville, there is no management and the workers do what they want to do.
I go to this business 2 or 3 times a week and do enjoy just sitting there eating ice cream. Very relaxing.

This place is awesome, I've never had a problem, yet, though it doesn't mean I will, but I go there a lot, I'm so glad Rogersville has a coffee shop, hopefully it'll last!

Yeah, I write someone off Everytime I revisit a business to give them another chance, too. Makes perfect sense don't it? Idiot.

I look at original poster as constructive criticism, its great that service is good most of the time but when employees start feeling to comfortable with there job that customers are ignored while "mousy "chats on her cell phone, that's the beginning of the end for a business. Now the place is aware of it and can fix the problem.

Have not yet gone in the morning but often go for lunch and take kids for ice cream. Spotlessly clean and really good sandwiches. Open at night, too. Wireless internet.
