Your words, and I quote "While he wasn't technically fired, President Clinton was going to face impeachment had he not stepped down", then you want to throw your bull about the supreme court in there and I don't remember him ever being a member of the supreme court and can find no record of it. He did appoint members of the Supreme court, but never serving. Before you spout off again, how about a link to him stepping down from anything... other than Monica???

President Clinton was impeached. He was impeached by the House. He was acquitted by the Senate.
He and Andrew Johnson were the only two presidents to be impeached.

Sorry, but if he was impeached, he would have had to leave office, there were impeachment proceedings but he never stepped down! Andrew Johnson had to vacate the office!

On January 7, 1999, in a congressional procedure not seen since the 1868 impeachment trial of President Andrew Johnson, the trial of President Clinton got underway in the Senate. As instructed in Article 1 of the U.S. Constitution, the chief justice of the U.S. Supreme Court (William Rehnquist at this time) was sworn in to preside, and the senators were sworn in as jurors.
"Quote",
Five weeks later, on February 12, the Senate voted on whether to remove Clinton from office. The president was acquitted on both articles of impeachment. The prosecution needed a two-thirds majority to convict but failed to achieve even a bare majority. Rejecting the first charge of perjury, 45 Democrats and 10 Republicans voted "not guilty," and on the charge of obstruction of justice the Senate was split 50-50. After the trial concluded, President Clinton said he was "profoundly sorry" for the burden his behavior imposed on Congress and the American people.

I think this person has been used by this jerk who is an officer and uses and abuses his position. That is why she is hurt and angry and is wanting him to suffer also. It is a shame that officers are allowed to get away with seeing women while they are on duty and wasting the tasxpayers money. It is degrading morally also. I can understand how she feels. It happens in other lines of work also, but there are women who are attracted to men in uniform and a man who has no morals will use his position to feed his ego, at anyone's expense. It should be stopped by his superior, and if he knows it and continues to ignore it, he is just as guilty

Like I said House impeached. Senate acquitted.
However, yes he was impeached.

For the "high morals" folks out there, read what the Bible REALLY says about adultery. Adultery is a SERIOUS offense if committed by a woman. It is a MINOR matter if committed by a man. The Old Testament is full of examples under Jewish law where the punishment for women committing adultery was severe, but the punishment for men was minor or nonexistent.

"Jewish law", you say? Yep. Christians seem to forget that Jesus was not a "Christian" like them. He was a JEW who practiced Jewish customs, and told his followers to do the same.(See Matthew 5 on following "the Law and the Prophets". The "Law" is Jewish law.)

So, the Lord himself seemed to care little about a man committing adultery (and an unmarried man can't commit adultery, anyway). READ what the Bible actually says. It's not what most "Christians" think. At all.
