i hope that whoever is looking for a clinic is serious about getting clean. suboxone is very very expensive and is also addictive. if you're looking for a clinic go online and look, they are physicians all around, greeneville, bristol, kingsport, that deal with this.
good luck on your sobriety. read about the drug before you committ to it.+

Yeah I'm looking for some real help. As bad is the problem is in Rogersville, well this area period, I'm very surprised one hasn't been opened up here yet. But I'm sure it would just be abused too. But I was looking for some referrals to some that people have actually been to or know of that are good doctors.

I would really appreciate some help. Thanks.

You can also obtain Suboxen from a psychiatrist which provides more entailed treatment. Pain clinics can also write scripts for Suboxen.
For anything to be effective, you have to be willing, committed and want the addiction to be in control.

If you're quitting cold turkey you'll have withdrawals. If you have a prescription for the pain meds and you really want off them you can wean yourself by taking less and less every week or two. If you take 6 a day now start taking 5. Then next week go with 4 or 4.5 and just gradually go off them. It is very possible but you must have willpower. The same goes for detox and other avenues. If you don't have the will to get off the drugs you're on now it doesn't matter what program you're in.

If you Google suboxone Dr's in Johnson City TN you will find a list of them along with the Dr office's phone number. If you have been on pain pills for that long & want to get off of them i dont understand why a Suboxone Dr would've turned you down. Also maybe if you told your pain prescribing Dr what you are wanting to do they might be able to help out with where to go & also might be able to prescribe Suboxone to you. Some pain Dr's that treat pain like that also prescribe Suboxone also, so you might want to talk with your Dr.Suboxone is very expensive though so if your Dr accepts insurance & you have insurance you might definitely want to check with them to see if they could prescribe you Suboxone because the Suboxone clinics dont accept insurance or at least i haven't heard of any that does. If you have insurance depending on what kind it is some will cover your medications though, but that part is very expensive also if you have to pay cash for it.I hope i have helped you out with what you are needing to know, but if not ill check back in & see if your still needing help.Good luck with whatever you decide to do. Oh yeah Suboxone is also very hard to come of of too.

I would like to inform everyone that there is a wonderful place in Damascas Virginia, called Stoney Mountain Health, and the doctors there are NOT like all these worthless pieces of repeating crap who have been cornering the tri-cities suboxone programs. All these worthless suboxone doctors who do not accept insurance are nothing more than legal drug dealers. They believe in their warped minds that if addicts can spend money for opiates, then they can surely afford their outrageous price tags. THEY know NOTHING about opiate addicts, 95% of us do NOT have money, or anything for that matter, it was already hocked to get opiates so we dont face withdrawls.
But anyways, enough ranting, look up Stoney Mountain Health in Damascas Virginia, they WILL treat opiate addiction. Here is what to expect:
As soon as you are taken in the back, they have a special room where they will get a urine screen, afterwards you wait for the doctor! Your first time will consist of answering questions and such, and be put on suboxone.
DO NOT take benzodiazepines with suboxone, or any other medication with Buprenorphine, which is the active pain killer in suboxone! It can and will kill you, don't chance it, and I don't care if you take xanax or any other benzodiazepines with suboxone and swear on a stack of bibles that your safe, YOUR NOT, it will kill you!

i dont know about suboxone but i know of a good methadone clinic in knoxville. thats about the closest one. its a really good place they provide u with medicicne and a counslor to talk to to help u stay on track. i have been clean now for 3 years. i tried to detox on my own but it was hell. i was ready for a change and a friend told me about the place. they had a waiting list when i tried to get in so i started out at a clinic in north carolina and transfered here about 2 years ago.alot of the people at the clinic tried suboxone and said it didnt do them any good said it didnt help with withdrawls or the craving or anything whereas methadone does.if this is something u maybe interested in let me know . ill check back here.oe more thing there is no point in starting this un ess u r truely ready for a change and to b done with the drugs.

The whole subject just burns me up. I was a total morphene(iv) addict for years and thought nothing would help. Then I found a Suboxone doctor in Bristol. He helped me get through the mental issues that were plaguing my every thought as well as my chemical addiction to the opiates. I have never felt so good.
I do have a prob though. He doesn't accept insurance and mine was cancelled. It's 125 a week b/c I pay for my drug tests weekly as well. this is tearing me up. He charges me another 100 if I can't afford to come one week and get by on one week for 2, then I go back paying 200( hope that nade sense). Anyways, I think these clinics can be very benificial to recovery but I also think that the doctors should understand, as another poster mentioned, we are all struggling financially and this 100/week stuff is driving people to the streets. I am currently working on getting insurance back and when I do, I am going to find a doctor that will accept it for my weekly visits.(thats another thing, I always payed 100, even when I had insurance, its just that it payed for the meds themselves, which run anywhere from 200-400/week....thats a whole weeks pay. Anyways, I will stop ranting, if anyone has any advice for my situation, pls let me know and I hope and pray that everyone facing this issue will find a way to overcome addiction.

Get off the Suboxone. Its not ment to be a life time "cure" or in the case that you have described life long drug replacement. You should be weaned by now. These Dr. are not the saints you think they are they are only out to make money and exploit your chemical dependency. Dont allow them to use your addiction against you any longer. Take charge of you recovery an REALLY recover. Get off it.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Aries

Your emotions have the upper hand, making you rather fiery and fervent. That's great if you're hoping for a passionate encounter with you-know-who, because you'll be really hot stuff. However, in non-sexual situations you could become somewhat tempestuous and irritable, especially if you suspect that things aren't going the way you want.
