Leslie Bailey is good and he is reasonable at that. His wife works for him and she works as a court appointed advocate for kids. his number is four two three - three seven eight - four four six nine. as a said in another topic post if he can't give you the answer right then he will call look up or find that answer right in front of you. He is liscensed in TN and VA. He knows his stuff and he charged us a 900.00 retainer and around here it is alot more than that. He is a good christian man and he doesn't believe in charging outrageous prices. We have used him 3 times and each time we won our case. Right now we have one pending waiting for signatures from the other party and she won't sign them cause she has to pay child support due to the new guidlines. So I suggest you to give him a call and go talk with him... His name is again Leslie Bailey and his wife is Sharon.

Thanks BlueGrass_Fan, I will check Leslie Bailey out. It sure can't hurt to go talk to him.

Anyone else have any recommendations? Anyone ever heard of Greg Francisco? I have also heard he's good.

Oh and i forgot to mention he is a rule 31 mediator and he can pick and choose the best ones. He can do something that most attorneys cant to that effect. I can't remember what its called but give him a call.

Thanks, I will. Is he an attorney who will leave no stone unturned, and fight for all it's worth?

I don't understand why anyone would feel they need "the best child custody attorney," when most courts are willing to mediate shared visitation when both parents are fit. If you are asserting the other parent is unfit (drug abuser or child abuser, etc.), then you need proof. If the children are old enough (12? 13?), then let them testify. If, however, you are seeking full custody just to get out of paying child support, then SHAME on you. You should look at the big picture: how is this child/children going to look at you if, when they are teens, they realize you are the one who severed their contact with the other parent, when it wasn't deserved?

Before you declare all out war, think of what is in the best interest of the children. If the other parent IS an addict or abuses the children, then more power to you. Good luck.

I would give Matthew King a call he is a good one. A little expensive though but well worht the money to get your child out of a bad place I no your feeling. My daughter now lives with me and my wife because of him. He is the best.

Beetle, thanks for the recommendation. Where is Matthew King from? Expense doesn't matter, as long as they know what they are doing, and are willing to fight for the children.

Then start gathering information, your attorney and his investigator can use it. Keep a calendar of what you observe, for example, when you personally saw the other parent was under the influence, red-eyed, reeked of alcohol, whatever, to support your claims. Document bank withdrawals/disappearance of valuables that you suspect funded his/her habit. Your child or children are lucky to have a parent who will stand up for them. With all the drugs in schools and on the streets, children need someone they look up to, and who will look out for their best interest. Avoid confrontations with the spouse or ex-spouse, just quietly observe, document, and let your attorney's investigator do the rest.

Thanks, I have already been doing all of that. I have plenty of proof. Now I just need the attorney that can present the proof to the courts the best. My kids are my life and I can not take a chance on their well being with a bad attorney.
Again, thanks for your suggestions.
