So sad:( but kind of you to do something so thoughtful, to bad the owner ( if there was one) probably doesn't even care:/ too much of that in this area.

I dnt think that is a fair assessment of the owner. I own 2 small dogs. I have an underground fence. However, they will jump it. I also have a kennel that they can escape from. Our indoor dog will occasionally make a run when the door is left open.
You dOnt know the circumstance surrounding the dog.
Why think the worse?

The post was made Saturday, if my dog was missing I would have been on swap shop, checked topix and asked around. Normally when something like this is on topix it gets back to people pretty quick in Rogersville so yes I think the worse BC I feel very sorry for the poor dog and so many others like it. Probaly dumped off, hungry, scared then was hit and left to die& rot. I know dogs get out and some have owners that care but most around here don't, just ask some of the kind folks that care for 10 or 20+ dogs at a time BC so many get dumped out like garbage daily.

sadly there was a larger dog with the little one which is why i made a point to stop - 113 is a dangerous road as is and i hope that i may have saved the larger dog by moving the smaller one as the larger seemed attached to the little one :(. i posted on here in hopes that incase an owner was looking they would know their little dog didnt stay in the road :(. i wish i could have done more however i only had a short time before their were cars behind mine wanting to go .

Can you not read ? Sad said there was another dog with the small dog .Therefore when sad removed the small dead dog from the road - large dog followed . Unlike most counties our county has no animal control to clear dead animals off the road . Im glad this person removed the dead dog from the road so as i did not have to avoid hitting the dead dog or the larger dog .
