I got a shake from there tonight and they were super slow.. Not to mention the younger girl with brown hair doesn't have a clue to what she is doing and she messed with her hair, scratched the inside of her ear, and rubbed her face before putting whipped cream on it and OPENED MY STRAW AND TOUCHED IT BY PUTTING IT IN MY SHAKE. The straws are on the top of the ice cream line, meaning let the customers get it themselves because that it nasty. We have to drink out of those! We don't want other people's fingers on them! Especially not when your fingers have been in your ear! They need to either learn health codes or they need to hire new employees. I recommend not to eat there!!

How much would you charge for a blt and side of chips?

That's a very loaded question. It would totally depend on where the restaurant is, and how much overhead you have.

To price any food, a BLT for example, there's more to figure in than two slices of bread, 3 slices of bacon, two slices of tomato, some lettuce and mayo. You also have to consider your rent, utilities, labor cost, advertising, food cost and profit.

Final product cost should be 3x food cost.

So far everything I have had there has been good. Their Ice Cream is wonderful and their gourmet coffee is much better than Starbucks! I recommend!

That place has only been open for a couple of weeks and everyone feels the need to rag on it. You can't find a place like that anywhere between rogersville and kingsport or morristown. Yea, morristown has baskin robbins but you're going to pay a lot more for the ice cream and it isn't as good. It takes time to get a business going and figure out what the best way to run it is. I own a business in morristown and I stopped by that ice cream joint in rogersville on Friday and I have to say, they're doing great. It was busy and yes we had to wait in line, but I would be more worried if there WASN'T a line. And I got the same coffee drink that I bought at Starbucks three days before and it was 2 dollars cheaper, and tasted better if I may add! My kids were upset when I said only one scoop for their ice cream, but one scoop was MORE than enough. I loved that place and I will be going back this weekend as well! Stop being so negative and appreciate the fact that someone brought you guys a place like that. Rogersville needs more of that to make the town thrive. People putting it down and trying to deter people from going isn't going to help your town at all.

Someone should buy that building that use to be phoenix grill and turn it into a truck stop. Problem is I heard the owners want too much for that building and it ain't worth that much. That's why its been empty so long. That's too bad cuz I agree with previous poster, need a truck stop for those truckers on the long haul.
