Well.. you could have knocked me over with a feather.

Hawkins County has so few things to really be proud of. A few crumbling old "Historic" buildings. Pretty scenery. And, there was the fact that we have a world famous motorcycle designer here whose bikes have won every prize in the books at Sturgis, Daytona and all the major bike rallies.

It is so sad that the drug epidemic has infiltrated this monument to what Hawkins County people are capable of.

Mike Brown was not involved and not named as one of the ones busted. He was renting the building and apartment out to these people and one had a shop across from the building.
You can still "be proud".

doesn't he live there on the property? If so and even if he doesn't there is no way he didn't know what was going. He just put his head in the sand and let the money keep coming in. I've thought for years that he wasn't on the up and up and nothing/no one will convince me otherwise. I don't him except for talking with him about buying one of his bikes and that is the reason I didn't, just knew he wasn't on the up and up.

You can't blame Mike Brown for helping someone in need, especially when he had no idea that they were career criminals.

But the part that gets me is that after he was informed about the drugs, stolen property, multiple felony convictions, multiple arrest warrants, what is his opinion about all this?

"Oh, they're good people inside. They just made a few mistakes is all. Don't hold it against them."

"Rockstars and politicians get away with this stuff all the time, so why shouldn't we let average, everyday people do it too?"

Uhhhh.... right... exactly what I was thinking...

Okay, so maybe Mike Brown is right. These people might have been career criminals their entire lives, but if you put that aside and ignore reality for a moment, they do start to seem like terrific folks especially from looking at their mugshots in the Times News. Hoffman looks like the type of classy lady that I would want to bring home and show mom. Mirkos looks like a teddy bear. Seriously. Certainly these are exactly the type of people that I want to be running around loose with lots and lots of loaded firearms.

One question though. Do you think if a black man were caught with guns, drugs, and multiple felonies, would Mike Brown have come running to his defense? A black man with guns??? NOOOOO!!!!

People like Mike Brown are exactly why I don't really expect much out of somebody that puts up bible quotes all over the place.

They look bad, Guess its true about Tuj Wilson being strung out. Look at his mug shoot you can tell he is wired by his eyes. Why was he only charged with theft over 500 when he had a stolen car at his house? Did he talk?

Just so you know, Tuj isn't strung out on anything. He was still in bed Asleep when the law came to our house. I'm sure you look like hell first thing in the morning too. He didn't steal anything, he was asked to work on a vehicle owned by someone else. He didn't know the car was reported stolen until the law came to his house that morning. So if you gonna talk about him on here at least get your facts straight.

There aren't any guilty men in prison. Just ask anyone in prison and they will tell you the truth, they aren't guilty. Mike Brown will agree.

Just so you know that most everyone knows since Tuj has been with you that he is strung out and we all know your back ground you have been into trouble a few times over meth and only your ex men had to pull time while you walked free, Tasha Ive known you all my life and your family and you are nothing but trouble. If Tuj doesnt get away from you he will go back to jail like he already has,And yes he new the car was stolen so did you; I say your the one that told on him for having the solen car, your such an innocent person arent you? You have a son Brandon that you have nothing at all to do with. By the way you look bad before and after bed you always look bad Tuj can do much better then you. Go see your son o I forgot you dont wont to, you are the white worthless trash.

Sounds like a bunch of whining newly-hormonal 9th graders here! "Wah! Wah! My life reeeeeally sucks, and it'll make me feel better saying anything bad about anybody I can! Especially the dark stuff I just think up."
Here is a truth: WHATEVER you throw out --good OR bad-- comes back at you many times over. Maybe, just maybe, that is why your life reeeeeeally sucks. You create the reality you end up living in. Choose wisely. Trust me, the other way is much much better. I truly feel sorrow for those confused and unhappy souls who got busted. They are getting old, going in circles, and still haven't found anything of value to hang on to in life. Sad. And, talk vague senseless trash all you want, but cheap words won't change the fact that Mike Brown is a good dude, period. I couldn't imagine HIM coming on Topix and speaking in such a way toward others as was just done toward
him. So, where does that leave the trash-talker in the scheme of good-and-bad? Don't bring evil upon yourself by throwing it upon others. Peace to all.

Read Lisa's comment above and see what her words say about her own life. Seems to be a very angry, miserable person who mistakenly believes she can feel better by making those around her miserable. But, not her fault. She has NO CONTROL over what she is doing. Very few in darkness do.

A start in changing that would be to mention the good things she knows about Tasha and build her up, instead of tearing her down. Tasha does whatever she does for reasons Lisa has no clue whatsoever about. In speaking kindly, Lisa would feel better, Tasha would feel better, and most people reading this topic would feel better. The world would become just a tiny bit better and more positive. This is the path of good.

The other side is to make everyone feel worse, to spread hatred. This is the path of darkness.

It is clear, it is simple. Which path do you choose, Lisa? Where will each path lead you a year from now? Ten years from now? Did that woman who got busted face the same choice earlier in her life? She is where she is for a reason, and so are you.

While man's laws cover the flesh , the real "Judge" that that governs the laws of spirit has yet to speak on this subject.
