Caitlin is still in ICU on life support. She has wiggled her toes and spoken to some people but dont no where she is or who she is. They are NOT letting people visit, just family. Rachel is having back surgery, whitney is fine, Emily is fine, and so is Brock. They could all still use your prayers bc they are still in the hospital but Whitney...

I know this is sad and all but wearing seat belts in a heat on collision wont make much of a difference, in knoxville 2 people were in a head on collision wearing seatbelts and the drivers head got lopped off by the force of impact against the belt, its more fate, if its your time to go its time to go, Main problem is they took Drivers Education out of Cherokee, so now we get kids driving around with home taught teaching on driving.
You need to check you stats on how many people are killed with and without seat belts. Of course some are going to get killed with seat belts on, but many more get killed without them than with them. Common sense

Rachel had surgery this morning on her back. Yesterday (Sunday) she was really really sick. She was sick to her stomach and her faces was just black and she was really really pale. But her surgery this morning went well and she is doing good. She's slept most of the day.

Emily had surgery on her leg on Thursday. It's not the only surgery that she is going to have to have on her leg though. She says she is doing good she's just really sore and tired.

Caitlin's lungs are working at a 60% now and that's ALOT better than 30%! Way to go Caitlin! She's responsive now and that's really good. We are getting there girls!

And for those that have been wondering Brock is doing okay. It turns out he got to gome home the morning after the wreck, not that same night like I had stated before. I apologize that I misunderstood. He only had to stay over night because they thought he might of had some bleeding on the inside but it turns out that everything was okay. He just has some broken bones in his hand/wrist area. Everyone pray for him too.

Sullivan county, Kingsport city school system, and dont be on here judging peoples driving lol. you dont know me nor have you seen me drive. Your probably one of the kids from cherokee that dont know how to drive nor ever had any education, dont hate on me cause i went to a school system that actually has classes on the subject and has student driving lessons where as this county does not. Maybe if theyd put the classes back in the school this wouldnt happen. and in Kingsport they have a law, i thought it was state law but apparently its county. That was a 16 yr old driver, in our county your not allowed to have but i think ONE other underaged passenger with you. DEFINATELY not allowed to have a car full of minors with you if your underaged cause they dont have driving experience which means their lives are already at risk driving alone, now add 3 other teenagers with their loud music and plenty of distractions especially since the kids these days have the attention span of a bird and you see what happens. Maybe if theyd push those laws for here the underaged kids wouldnt be out joy riding, if they ride solo they got no one to entertain but themselves. But who am i fooling? The idiots in rogersville? theyll never get with the time, that whole damn town is still set in 1984.

that had nothing to do with the wreck,as far as schools are involved.....maybe something was going on with the truck or car...just wait for the cops to solve the case.

"Gee Dumb" has a point, they were operating the vehicle illegally, you are only allowed one other underage person with the exception of a sibling, then you can have one sibling and one other juvenile. I still have this horrible feeling that a phone was involved, but I saw the black marks the other day and it really just looks like she was driving to fast for the curve. I have been in law enforcement for 10+ years and that is the way I call it, but my opinion don't count, just keep praying that all these girls fully recover. "maybe something was going on with the car or truck"? The poor fellow in the truck was merely in the wrong place at the wrong time.

That has EVERYTHING to do with it If your driving a vehicle illegally. And they were and you see what happens, Driving too fast and probably texting there homies to see where they want to meet up at or just joy riding illegally. Thats why we have these laws, Would of only been 3 in the wreck instead of 5 reducing life threatening risks.

I don't know what happened but i have heard she was texting also. If that's the case i'm sorry but the driver needs to be charged and held accountable for her actions.

There aren't any grammar courses in college unless that is your degree. Grammar and sentence structure is taught in grades Pre-K - 10. What is your excuse?

Everybody has been praying and still is but if the texting and speeding wasn't involved and that's if it was then the wreck itself could've been avoided. Because it was a hoffific wreck cause on the news it looked like the driver side of the front end/motor was in the dash. Yes those girls were very lucky and blessed that God was watching over them.....and their parents I'd say we're horrified when they got that phone call...
