A lady just won a $300 million lawsuit against one of the cigarett companies even tho she admitted she knew smoking caused cancer. I certainly wouldn't want to be the one selling the pot "legally". IMO it's not healthy breathing smoke into your lungs be it from cigs or a joint.
Most of America is over weight now and that drives up the cost of healthcare. All we need is the government making it legal for them to smoke pot and get the muchies. But the govenment will do anything for tax revenue. I'm sure they're already worried about where their next pay raise is coming from.

Actually there is a whole group of law enforcement people that have joined together and formed an organization to fight prohibition. Here is a link to their website:

It's definitely true that smoking tobacco with toxic additives can lead to lung cancer.

But, remarkably, studies have shown that marijuana reduces your chance of lung cancer, testicular cancer, and perhaps other kinds as well.

When I post links topix erases my posts so you can google for these with the hints given.

"Among the more interesting pieces of news that came out while I was on vacation the first half of August was a new study in the journal Cancer Prevention Research, which found that marijuana smokers have a lower risk of head and neck cancers than people who donít smoke marijuana. Alas, this important research has been largely ignored by the news media." - alternet dot org

This refers to the study "A Population-Based Case-Control Study of Marijuana Use and Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma" at cancerpreventionresearch dot aacrjournals dot org

At forbes dot com we find "Active Ingredient in Marijuana Kills Brain Cancer Cells" where it says "Explaining that the introduction of THC into the brain triggers a cellular self-digestion process known as "autophagy," study co-author Guillermo Velasco said his team has isolated the specific pathway by which this process unfolds, and noted that it appears "to kill cancer cells, while it does not affect normal cells." Velasco is with the department of biochemistry and molecular biology in the School of Biology at Complutense University in Madrid. The findings were published in the April issue of The Journal of Clinical Investigation."

There are more studies as well, but the topix link removal thing is too inconvenient since I can't just paste links, but that should get you started to realize that marijuana is an extremely useful therapeutic and natural healing drug.

They have just scratched the surface of the many beneficial uses of this wonderful plant. Many states have realized that there are beneficial uses. The only holdout is the federal government who insists that they know what's best for us. History has shown that prohibition does not work. The Federal Government won't even allow researchers to cultivate it in order to further study it. It's like being terrible sick and needing penicillin and being told that you can't have it because it's a mold and we think that it is unsafe to inject yourself with a mold.

I love the commercials about taking statins for your cholesterol. The side effects could kill you. Myself I used Hemp Seed Oil Capsules from Manitoba Harvest with no side effects.

I would really like to try their Hemp Bliss Organic Hemp Milk but they can't ship it in the winter. If you go to the website above scroll down the page and take the Hemp Field tour and the Hemp harvest tour. Then tell me you can't envision fields of hemp accross the hills and valleys of Tennessee in the place of tobacco fields.

THC is found in the leafy material and the buds. The seeds however contain no THC.
Manitoba HarvestTM Hemp Seed Oil is nature's richest source of the Essential Fatty Acids (76%) and is a rich source of GLA (3%). Hemp Seed Oil offers a good balance of Omega 6 to Omega 3 fatty acids (3.75 to 1), suitable for life long consumption.

Manitoba HarvestTM Hemp Seed Oil has a light green color and a gourmet nutty flavor, a tasteful compliment to a variety of foods. It can be added to juices, smoothies, soups and sauces to create a rich creamy texture. Hemp Seed Oil is an excellent base for any salad dressing. You can substitute Hemp Seed Oil for other oils in recipes that are not heated above 176 C (350 F).

Manitoba HarvestTM Hemp Seed Oil is cold pressed from Manitoba HarvestTM hemp seed that is grown sustainably without the use of herbicides or pesticides. Contains no Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs).

Ingredients: 100% cold pressed Hemp Seed Oil. Contains no additives or preservatives.

Go to the website and read about it.

It helps to keep it check. The fish oil capsules made me sick to my stomach. I kept belching fish taste. I can't take the statins cause they just don't make me feel right. Lightheaded, uneasy, play hell with my stomach too. Plus I'm outside all day and statins say stay out of the sun. The cost of $7.50 for a months supply is a lot cheaper than script medications.

Hemp oil is produced from the plant known as Canabis sativa l. and has been a traditional food in China as far back as 1500 BC. Hemp has been legal to grow in Canada since 1998, and lately health-conscious consumers have discovered the health benefits linked with this wonder food.

Since hemp seeds are found at the top of the Canabis plant located within a protective shell, hemp products such as hemp oil contain no, or miniscule amounts of, THC. In fact, you would probably have to smoke a whole field of hemp to get any intoxicating effect.

Legalizing pot would be a good thing. It's just a plant that actually makes you feel great, and maybe it would losen up a lot of these hard asses around here. If my children had to experience using drugs, i would much rather them to smoke a joint than take a hit off a crack pipe. Pot isn't as bad as bad as some make it out to be.Also, I've had some great sex after smoking it and it also enhances orgasms.

I think weed should be legalized. Theres no lasting effects except memory loss (only unable to remember things when your high. Nothing else) Alcohol is way worse and yet is legal. I believe that weed should be legalized and then restricted with the same laws as alcohol. Americas just too stupid to realize that it can help people and is not harmful at all. As a pothead i believe itd be way easier to legalize it cause the governments just fighting a losing battle

just like the other one....
TN should just go ahead and legalize it all together.
Its a plant that makes seeds and fruit. Just like my peach trees or apple trees. I just prefer smoking it over eating it. lol.
