I hate when owners of businesses get on here and play coy. Dang, buy an ad. At the very least sponsor swap shop, at least locals listen to it.

If the new place is a bakery, hell, I'd think they sell cupcakes. As for the name, you know perfectly well it is on the window.

You just ask for trouble by shamelessly trying to drum up business on here.

Pathetic...

That will get you an interview. Call or better yet walk in. Tell the owner(eye roll) that you had no idea what their business was about or offered up for sale , so being the genius you are, you started a thread on topix about 'em.
Tell them it is free advertising & that they should ignore the bad crap posted( I can assure you it is coming.... Dirty laundry is always aired here...). Be sure to emphasize that you simply wanted info...
Bet you start the next day.. Wink wink..,

Four average or less in size cupcakes- $9.00 and no, they were not extra special or filled with pricey ingredients- they weren't even decorated- just a swirl of icing on top. I hope they can stay in business, but I do not see that lasting long here.

Cupcakes are expensive because of Obamacare.

Have nothing to do with the business and am not a friend or family member. The place is great and I wish them the best. Everybody complains about no businesses in town then when a new one comes in, which isn't often, everybody wants to bash it. Craziness!

$2.25 per plain cupcake? Just a regular sized one, these aren't muffins?

There was a high priced cupcake fad that hit California and New York about 10 years ago. Petered out though after the economy collapsed in 2008. I guess it's just now reaching Tennessee.

There are no "other things" - just 1.00 mini cupcakes and 2.25 regular-sized cupcakes- and a large thermos on the counter with coffee. I wish them luck, but it will not make it here- unless they do something else. I'd like to see someone do donuts or something - yum! How about donuts split with scrambled egg on them- or how about a bagel with cream cheese and lox- yum-- and that is something that you can not get around here!

When I was there she was taking a order for a cake. So they must do birthday and wedding cakes. Maybe they will add other things too. Its sad that anyone who starts a business in this town gets bashed on topix.

Like everything else, will be out of business in 3-6 months, thanks to a lack of educated clientele and zero support from the taxpayer-funded "Chamber of Commerce".

In order to make a profit and pay rent they will have to charge higher prices but unfortunately Rogersville isn't the place where people will pay 2.00 for a regular cupcake when they can buy box mix and icing for 3.50 and make a dozen. Plus I drove by at 1 :30 today and the sign said closed. Not good:/ I do hope they do well but they'll need to wow this area with something more then cookies, cakes & regular cupcakes

I'm not bashing anything! I told the TRUTH and wish them the BEST. They have cokes, tea, water, juice and do take orders or cakes. They do have a bagel for 1.50 and cream cheese for .25 in the mornings. If I have left anything out- forgive me! I cant think of anyone that would interpret what I have said as bashing or mean or clueless or anything- so, I am thinking the owners are on here- and what would the owners want the Chamber to do for them- specifically?
