There is one in Jonesboro or Gray. Its held by the ruitan club of hales community I think. Wish I had more info on it, but I'm sure a google search may help locate it.

Myer's Trail of Terror is a must. I got to work in it a few years back and enjoyed it. But I love goin' through it. Also try Stanley Valley VFD's barn. I've went to it every year and had a good time. And like always people, please help support your fire dept's, we do appreciate it.

i went to a really good corn maze and haunted barn all in one in jonesborough last year, don't remember the name of it, had to wait in line for HOURS, but it was well worth it. we also went to a haunted asylum in hampton, tn. it took forever to find, it was pretty good too, line wasn't as long. the really creepy thing about it was that it was actually used for an asylum back in the day.
can u give me directions to the asylum....we've been trying to locate it for a few years.

o man, let me think on this one. let's see, you go to the end of elizabethton, turn right toward hampton, i think it's actually in hampton. pass the jail, keep going for what seemed like an eternity, it's just off the road on the left. there's a church right next door, i have no idea what the name of the church is, i know that would be a real help. sorry!! i'm pretty sure that there is a sign that is lit up on the side of the road. sorry i cannot help anymore!

There will be a "One Night Only" Haunted House at Hawkins Elementary School on Saturday November 1. The hours will be 4:00 p.m.- 11:00 p.m. Admission will be children under 12 -$3.00 and all others $5.00. Proceeds will go to upgrading the playground area. This is the 4th year that we have had a Haunted House, and it gets better each year. Please come out and support our school. Thank you.
We went to this one last year. We did not think that it would be that scary since it was an elementary school. That was one of the scariest ones that I have been in. It was great. We drove from Kingsport for this one. We will be there again.

Oh and by the way I used the same name as the original poster, just because it was rather appropriate. On here it becomes a trick or treat when someone posts.

Hope to see all of you stop by both Carters Valley and Stanley Valley Fire Dept haunts this weekend. They were both out on a trailer fire this morning at 5:30am on Waterson Gap rd and will be up late tonight spooking at their respective Haunted Forest or Haunted Barn. The money the VFD's make goes to help offset the cost of running fires like this morning.

Just think you can hit both in one night!!

read my post from thursday. i explained the directions the best that i could remember them. IT IS NOT TRUE about getting your money back. everyone that i went with made it through. it's just really dark, really narrow, and really low ceilings, i'm 6'6'' and had to duck for the most part of the asylum. i don't think that it's what you have in mind tho. it's just like any other haunted house, just in an old asylum. some things are a little more bizzare, some things i have never saw in a haunted house. that's all i will tell. don't want to ruin the surprise. if you're from rogersville, it's probably not worth a special trip up there just to see it. it's probably over an hour drive each way. if you're in johnson city or elizabethton already, i'd reccomend checking it out.
