When i left town several years ago for a job transfer, I had accounts at FCB and I can remember they had just built an extra drive thru next to the Main Branch to handle all the business they had. Went by late Friday evening and looked like a ghost town in the Main Branch. Only saw two ladies in there the whole time I waited for someone to wait on me, never happened so I left. Any word as to what happened to all their business and following and any suggestions on what bank to use in town now that we are moving back.

What do you mean "work with you?" I'm not sure just what a bank is supposed to do other than hold your money and clear your checks. Doesn't take much "working with" to do that I don't think. If you put money in, and take no more out than you put in, there shouldn't be any need to "work with" anything...

All banking does is prove that you owe taxes after you retire.

Give Civis Bank a try! They still have a real live person answer the phone and help you. And, if you want the newest technology they have that too! Best of both worlds I'd say!

When he says "work with you" I think he means they'll help you spread a load of gravel in your driveway or build a deck on the weekend. You know, stuff like that.

Only after regular working hours though.

Just make sure you have plenty of beer available.
