2nd Timothy 4 1-5

1 I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom : 2 preach the word ; be ready in season and out of season ; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine ; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, 4 and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. 5 But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry

2nd Timothy scripture sure does describe our country right now. People don't want to hear and deal with the truth but do want their 'ears tickled' and they will not 'endure sound doctrine'. Never thought I would live to see the day that scripture was fulfilled but do believe that this is what is happening in this generation. 'Turning away from the truth' and would rather believe a lie is a description of the majority of people. We are foolish to say the least and not just a few people or certain groups of people. It is widespread and a dumb generation.

If you actually knew the bible rather than just searching for passages you'd know that He was condemning believers for judging non believers.
Jesus was describing hypocrites, not non believers. "To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else" says it plainly. It also says in your bible, Matthew 5:37 let your yes mean yes and your no mean no and anything beyond that is evil. Because, unless you're 100% certain what you say will come true and God won't have mercy on someone you just condemned to eternal torment, you could be made out to be a liar.

The feared political/religious leaders, The Pharisees/Hypocrites, who were in collusion with Roman leaders, accused Jesus of blasphemy for daring to claim he was the son of God, for associating with those, MOSAIC LAW plainly stated, were unclean sinners. Jesus, in fact, broke those laws and did sin according to those laws by being around prostitutes and party drinkers & the big one, claiming to be the son of God part. If The Pharisees were hadn't bee so corrupt or been non believers in Abraham's God, Jesus might have been spared.

Was Jesus a sinful person or were the laws unjust, used by corrupt people in positions if power? Self righteous people who dare to presume to know the mind of God and tell others they will burn for silly little things like drinking beer, playing cards, reading erotic paperbacks are doing the same thing that was done to Jesus.

Instead of threatening people with fear and torment in order to make people join your religion why not lead by example and show how your religion makes you and everyone you attend to, better BECAUSE of your religion. It also states in the bible how to call people out the correct way without starting a community feud. Don't be shocked of the "Calling Out" is used on you by your fellow believers.

If it's the right way and all these other things you people keep labling it, then why does the church feel the need to threaten you with hellfire if you don't do everything just as the book says. Why would a god all about love and fogiveness, make sure that people who don't do exactly as he says have no peace peace and joy, be riduculed and insulted, and have no satisfaction? Seems a little cruel. Ya know, it almost seems as if you are to be scared into believing this

The difference between Jesus' words, and the interpretation by his followers who participate in organized religion, is the same as the difference between night and day.

The fear of god is the beginning of wisdom. Accept or reject you have total freedom and nobody can force you to do either.

Hardly.

Because one is about intelligence, and the other is about lunacy in an unproven.

Lunacy does not breed intelligence.

That is like trying to assert is that the sky is dark when the sun is shining.

Your perception does not necessarily reflect reality. While waves of energized particles from the sun stimulate your nerve endings exciting the neurons in your brain which translates these signals into some kind of idea that your mind is able to process , It does not reveal a reality anymore than a vivid dream does. Your soul is able to perceive truth , while your physical body cannot process enough information to even begin to understand the universe.
