What is your view of concealed weapon permits and would it bother you to see someone armed with a handgun other than a police officer?

i think it is too dangerous for people to carry around guns. look how parents act at sporting events. look how people act out with road rage. if someone insulted your child or you saw your mate with someone else, you are not going to stop and think it through, then it is to late.if i traveled alot by myself i would want to have a gun, but kept in the glove department, not walking around like matt dillion with the gun on my side. people like this look like big chickens.

If you knew the other person that screamed at your child, or messed with your spouse of got into road rage with or whatever was also carrying a weapon I bet you WOULD think twice about pulling yours.

Permits to carry are an outrage against the constitution. The right to keep and BEAR arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.

If you don't approve of the Us Constitution, please feel free to move to a country without a Bill of Rights, and go with my blessing and well wishes.

Not everyone can get a concealed weapons permit. A background check, mandatory classroom training and range proficiency are required.

Statistics have shown that crime does indeed go down when citizens are allowed to carry. I would hate to live in some neighborhoods or subdivisions that invite crime by posting signs like "You are entering a no gun zone". Might as well leave milk and cookies for the thiefs.

Gun carriers are instructed to draw their weapon only as a last resort and only then if they themselves are personally threatened. The first rule is to get out of there.

I have a gun permit but seldom carry unless I am traveling. I feel safer with my Glock within reaching distance and would only use it in dire circumstances.

Many victims of crime have wished they had a means to protect themselves. Sometimes just the threat of a gun is enough deterrent.

Thanks to the liberal policies of the incoming government it looks like federal taxes on guns and ammuntions will sky-rocket. Better get both while you can.

You can walk down a dim-lighted street by yourself if you want to but I'll take Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson with me.

My husband has a gun permit and his gun of choice and registered to him is called "The Judge." I feel safer knowing that my hubby can and will protect us if and when need to be.

Look you don't have to carry a gun to be an out of control person if you can't control your temper and use judgement then you don't need a drivers license or a sharp knife in your house. someone armed with a gun and has a permit to carry it has been trained and had a background check done on them and are responsible for themselves and the weapon they are in posession of. Unlike the thugs that would rob or try to harm you. A conceiled permit is just that you keep your weapon conceiled. You never want to use it its there for the time some one would try to take your life or your family not what some people think.

I will be getting my CWP. It doe snot bother me to see armed responsible people. I think it's great.

Far too often we hear of uneducated armed people killing one another. Educated armed people would be enlightening.

I have my permit to carry and as far as being a big chicken that I am not but I have the right to protect me and my family and I thank God I have not had to use my gun on anyone and pray I never do. btw in you see me you would never know I'm carrying it and it is a 9mm and concealed but easy to get to If I want to carry for everybody to see I can but I am to old to fight off 2 or 3 people now and sure cant out run them. So what must one do to protect theirselves

I don't know why some people think you have to be a chicken to carry a gun. As lonewolfe said, he is too old to fight or run. What is a person to do...submit and end up a dead victim?

We are not vigilantes looking to kill or maim someone but we are determined not to allow someone to main or kill us or our families.

Statistics show that CCW permit holders are more responsible per capita than police officers. That is a sobering statistic but a real one.

You who are against having a responsibly armed citizenry better hope that in a crisis situation you have an armed person to protect you.

The police cannot be everywhere at one time and depending on a CCW permit holder may be your only defense.

Nice choice on "The Judge". A 44 and .410 all in one. VERY good choice for carrying with you in your vehicle especially. I'd sure hate to be on the receiving end of a .410 shotgun blast in a hand-held format. I'm going to the DMV thursday to put in my application for my carry permit. I took the class back in the fall. How long did it take for them to send everyone's in the mail? I was told it can take up to 90 days.

It is a nice gun and the hubby loves it. Now they may come out with "The Jury" some time this year and he's been doing "lots" of research..lol

Yes it does take about 90 days but will be worth it in the long run. I'm looking into it as well. Sometimes hubby isn't here and although I can protect myself just want to make I can do that as well outside of my home.
