I saw in the Rogersville Review where the deputies had made another meth related bust. They got two people, and were looking for a third, not sure if the third person was related to the bust. I hope they get everyone who dares to make this poison.

The bust the other day with the momma, daddy AND 21 year old daughter all getting nailed for dealing really ticked me off.
I mean, don't parents want their kids to have a BETTER life than they had?
I just don't understand the mentality (or lack thereof) wherein parents on the dole or dealing also think it's just fine for their kids to grow up as worthless.
Somebodys' gonna have to explain that one to me.

It's the way they're raised. So often I've seen kids grow up to be just like mom and dad using the system to get their welfare checks or becoming drunks and heads expecting everyone else to keep them up.
What we need here is a program to educate kids that they CAN break out of the mold and can better themselves.
I know I did.

with all the unemployment and poverty you can expect crime, drug use and manufacture to increase.
But I suppose if there was 100% employment and no poverty there would still be drug problems. It's a psychological thing.
The war will probably never end.

^ I agree DBL...why is sudafed still on the market anyway? The new substitute works just as well IMO, but I seldom have to use a decongestant.
Some of these cold medicines have warnings for people with high blood pressure, etc.
Meds like ny-quill shouldn't be sold across the counter anyway...they don't call it "witch's brew" for nothing! If you want to make someone a zombie give them a dose.

There, you have your Government fabricated portable meth lab.
As long as your government allows the general public easy access to pseudoephedrine laced cold pills the insane process of making meth will continue in epidemic preportions, the us government doesn't want this insane cycle to stop they only want to control it,the drug doesn't discriminate and effects animals, children, enviroment,ye t the government still allows this to continue.
SOOOOOOOOOO good luck with the meth epidemic in your town,My community has already been destroyed.
You know what? There's a lot of truth to what you just said. Instead of making pseudoephedrine a prescription only drug they choose to allow communities to be destroyed by this drug. I really do not understand this.

they wont stop selling the pseudophed because its a multi billion dollar industry. does anyone even buy that stuff who's not using it to make meth? if they just took it off the market, gave up a percentage of their profits, there would be a HUGE drop in meth production; until they found another way to make it. Greed plays a big role in this.

This might come as a shock to you, but yes, Sudafed was the standard nasal decongestant that doctors used to recommend for folks like me with sinus issues.
I've taken it for years when I get congested, as with a cold.

The others simply don't work as well; I've never found anything that works better.

Just straight up Sudafed for me (the little red ones), no additional ingredients. Store generic is just fine.
One box of those (like 24 I think?) lasts me for a couple years - and they're dang cheap.

Which is why they could make it by prescription only.

I see.
I suppose you'll be wanting gasoline banned also, since arsonists use it.
How about cars in general? Some folks use them improperly and folks get killed as a result.
Cell phones? How many vehicular accidents and deaths occur because some idiot insists on talking on one and driving, even though they lack the proper amount of brain cells to do both simultaneously?

Blame the inanimate objects of this world, not the morons who abuse them, is that about it?
Yeah, right.
Fire up a couple of brain cells next time, please.
