The pastor of Henards and the owner of Shepards Corner have really let me down. As I know they both have ate at places where has drinks. You would think they would want it here as it will bring jobs. For the cry that the Sheperds corner is a church is really a stupid statement. Its a store plain and simple and I will not take anything else there to. This is 2013 time to let grow

Well, Mr. Livesay, since you have deemed everyone in Rogersville so "Heartless" as you say, I will NEVER bring you anything else to the Shepherds Center as a donation. Sometimes it is better to keep your thoughts to yourself, enough said.

Really you have said enough. There is absolutely no way that you could comprehend what Mr. Livesay does for the people in need. He has a heart that is a zillion times bigger than yours.

you have a lot of nerve making a statement like that. to start you have no idea how big the other poster's heart is. secondly, i bet you are one of mr livesay's lackies and probably dont really know him as well as you think. if he called everyone else heartless he is as rediculous in his assumption as you are in yours. if you think there is no profit in what mr livesay does i suspect your not too bright.

Except for posts 4 and 5, don't you think these posts sound like a bunch of DRUNKS? Please just notice the lack of capitalization and punctuation. Notice the poor sentence structure. To me, it sounds like the drunken callers to radio programs after UT loses a ball game. Believed they may have been to the package stores much too often.
By the way have you noticed how much worst several drivers in Rogersville and nearby areas have gotten since the two new liquor stores have opened? I have seen people drinking in the 66 plaza parking lot on several different days and I saw a large wine bottle left between parking spaces in the Wal-Mart parking lot.(Wal-Mart doesn't sell wine).
Oops, sorry in advance before your next post! I just forgot that drinking makes you write, drive and talk better. Makes you 100 times more intelligent, sophisticated, and knowable. Donít know what I was thinking. The only excuse I can think of is that I must have needed a strong drink with my meal before posting this.

Judging by YOUR misspellings and grammatical errors, I'd say you've had about enough.

Exactly what is misspelled? Please tell me because I even used spell check several times! As for the grammar, it was intentional for emphasis. I didnít think a bunch of drinks would know the difference anyway. LOL!

Correction to post number thirteen is as follows: "I didn't think a bunch of drunks would know the difference" instead of "drinks". However, curiosity got the best of me for post number eleven. Another Microsoft spell and grammar check shows no misspelled words and the only grammar error shown is a fragmented sentence that I knew about. Is the spell and grammar check missing something?
However, I have got a really good excuse. I went for eight years to the Rogersville City School so you canít expect much! You always tell a graduate of the Rogersville City School system. You just canít tell them much.

Sheldon said, in his Kingsport Times editorial that the heart of the matter is sin. What sin are we committing?

Did not say anything bad about Mr. Livesay, just that his thoughts maybe should have been thought out before he condemned everyone else. He does a great work, but the "HEARTLESS" people he is talking about has helped him a lot through the years, and he needs to realize that I think before he runs his opinion in a newspaer.

Read in paper pastor at Henards Chapel and I quote, "Why can't they come and put their establishment somewhere further away from the park? Now that confuses me pastor, so putting it somewhere else makes it OK and it makes it OK to go there to have a drink with our meal. Sort of like its alright to go out of town and eat at a place that serves drinks, just don't get caught doing it in Rogersville. Which is it sir?

It doesn't really matter. You never hear them complaining about the Hales Springs Inn having a tavern and serving liquor by the drink. It's right in front of a real church. I'm sure Sheldon and the pastor have both eaten there. But now we're having a crisis, sin has fallen upon us because of Sagebrush. Alas Amen!

Sounds like this reverend is straddling the fence himself, like I said in the other post, where were you when the cigarette outlet applied to sell through their drive through window. Like I said, sounds like a little jealously here on Mr. Henard obtaining a tenant for his building. Ok to locate somewhere else, just not in this building.???
