How do you get caught with meth and other drugs in your car and at your home and then be allowed to come back to work caring for sick people? I'm glad I don't have a family member at Rogersville care and rehab. Sounds like the workers and management need the rehab. It was on the front page of the Review just the other day.

Was the woman you are talking about tried and convicted or had she been arrested and was awaiting trial ?(and no, I'm not interested in her name or who her family is)

The staff at Signature Healthcare (formerly Rog Care and Rehab) should NOT be judged by only one careless and absent-minded employee! If u work, how would u like 4 some mindless acting employee to represent u? And 4 ur info, she did not come back 2 work except to pick up TERMINATION papers. I think that most the staff at Signature Healthcare of Rogersville go above and beyond to meet exceptional healthcare needs of their residents!(No, I don't work there) but I have had family members there in the past and they have been very well taken care of. And also, remember that u r talking about someone who has a family that could possibly be reading this and they need ur prayers and well-wishes, just as much as the person who made the newspaper! Anyone can make BAD desicions!

You obviously work there or you wouldn't know so much about it.

Like I have previously stated, no I don't work there. I'm simply well informed and type the truth! Others need 2 take lessons to seek the truth instead of spread sensless rumors that hurt the innocent!

I know the girl personally and have for about 2 years and I am just floored by this. The girl I know was not in to this in any way. I am sure she will go before the board of nursing due to this and rightfully she should. She was one of the very very very best nurses that I knew and she was always so cautious at her job done everything right. I will be praying for her

for the love of nursing, these people around here just LOVE to see somebody get in trouble so they can trash the person on topix and get away with it by not revealing who they are. Rogersville used to be a very nice place to live but most people here now just love to see others in pain. It's sad and disgusting. I don't get it! I knew of this girl years ago but people change, especially when they get on that trash! Yes, she will be in my prayers as will be the local police department because MOST of them (AND I SAID MOST, NOT ALL!!!) don't even CARE enough to look for the people making meth. They just happened to find this one because they pulled her over. And I am serious, RPD is in my prayers because some of the guys I know there used to be great people but they've changed too! Pat Johnson and the man who used to be the dispatcher are both still GREAT men and I'm thankful to God that we have them!

RPD did not JUST PULL HER OVER.She was driving erraticaly, and it took some good police work to find the meth, unlike alcohol which can be detected more easily. How can RPD detect meth labs? They can't unless they smell it or someone reports it.Anyone who lives in a congested neighborhood should walk around the block every day(for the exercise)and be on the alert for the smell of ammonia,or watch for a lot of traffic to a house/trailer at odd hours of the day.If you see this, you can call it in anonymously. The cops can't do it all;we have to be their eyes, ears and nose.

I also know this girl personally and I am so crushed but she has made a mistake, apparently made some bad choices, but she needs prayers. Of course she will have to be accountable for her actions, especially in her field of employment, but instead of beating her down, lift her name and many others up in prayer. We don't have to jump on board and say it is ok, but we don't have to trash her either. Lift her name in prayer-that might do more good than you know. We never know when it could be us or someone we love.

Any family members there for rehab? If so did they get good care? Also wondering if they could get private rooms. Have a family member that will be needing care. Anything you could tell me about this place would be appreciated.

Thanks

I take papertowels and put them in cups then soak the towels in ammonia. I put these cups behind my flower bushes to keep the rabbits from hanging around. Never thought about the ammonia smell being suspicious.

I think if you have a substance abuse problem with certain substances like meth, or heroin, oxycontin, or pcp you should not be working in healthcare, finance, the military, aircraft piloting, heavy equipment handler, professional driver, or a number of other professions. Fast food would be OK. There should also be a registered drug crimes database so people can find out where the convicted drug offenders in their neighborhood live, and those on the list need to be required to reregister when they move.

I must be slipping on my job, I don't recall anything like this in the paper...Of course I didn't look all that close. It is a shame to hear about this though.
