He is great. Office staff nice. After years of going to Crossley yes he is a rip off :( spent lots of wasted time and money there fixing "cracked" sealants and "cavities" in spaces

In response to parent3, the reason your child sits still is because every child that they sedate is strapped to a papoose board for only a cavity filling! I will never again allow my child to go to a dentist that will not allow parents to see what is going on with their children. My son was having a cavity filled and they put a dental dam in his mouth to hold it open which is fine, but the problem was that they had the side of his cheeck pinched between the tooth and the dam and it was really hurting him. He was only five years old and he kept trying to tell them it was hurting but they wouldn't stop, he started trying to move but realized he was strapped down and started to panic. Dr. Moody and his staff still didn't stop to see what was wrong or come get me or even tell-

me that something was wrong. My son came out halfway sedated and terrified. I knew something was wrong and when we got to the car I asked him what was wrong and he told me what had happened. I looked at his jaw and he had a chunk missing from the inside of his cheek and what I thought had been bleeding gums was the place that had been caught. I called back in there since I couldn't leave him alone in the car, and they lied about anything being wrong they said he was being a difficult child! He has never been difficult,he has even had blood drawn and he holds still for that without having to be held. Do not go to Dr. Moody!

Dr. Moody is very scary to a child when the parents leave. I went to hime when I was little.
He was all sweet and great until mom went back up front. Then he'd try n put the child under for anything done. For a pediatric dentist, he had to be the roughest one I'ver ever been to. I'd rather have all my teeth pulled than to go to him again or send anyone else to him. He's a quack!

We went to Dr. Moody because of great reviews. I work in the medical field so understood why he did not want parents in the back. They gave my son "happy juice" as anesthesia, which had NOT fully kicked in when they took him to the back. An hour later when they brought him back to me, his breath smelled to throw up, his eyes were puffy from crying. Noone ever came to tell me they had problems. The anesthesia never did work they did his work with him awake and aware. Their solution to the problem was telling him to be a big boy, stop crying and it would be over soon. We have since gone to Crosley, who is cheaper, and much more professional. My son was scared at first (because of moodty) but does not mind going at all anymore.

Took my kids there till my son went in for a filing and can out look like the elephant man. The nurse can out all stressed out and said my son was a cry baby. Needless to say they never went back and I'm sure the still think of me.

He's a good dentist, but staff is the rudest bunch of people ever. My kids liked him, but did not like any of the assistants. Quit going, do not like rude.

I take my son there and he loves it. I just asked him if he's ever been tied down or strapped to anything and he said no.. The staff is very nice and Dr. Moody answers any and all questions we have. My son is five and has had two teeth pulled and he has never came back to me groggy or even remotely sedated and he has had no complaints. I don't know if these other stories are true but I have had no problems at all and will continue to take my son there.

Dr Moody is great! He does use mild sedation for work that might be scary for the child. I'm a nurse myself and see nothing wrong with this. It allows for a more positive and safe expirence. Most pediatric dentist are doing this now anyways...

We took my nephew to Dr. Moody, but he will never go back again. His staff took him back in a room and shut the door and told us to wait in the waiting room. we stood outside the door, first we heard him crying then all of a sudden we heard nothing. they strapped him down and poured medicine dwn his throat. they also strapped him down for his procedure. He was terrified. Stop and think how you feel even as an adult if you were stapped down against your will with people doing things that you didnt understand or maybe even hurt you, with not a familar face to comfort you. He will never go back there again. I pray that another child never has to go through that. Try Dr. Dana Johnson. She is wonderful!
