Woman, leave this war criminal and murderer of innocent Iraqi people and find a new normal guy. Do you want to spend your life with war criminal, with ,man who raped women, slaughtered innocent people in Iraq? It would be not normal, wouldn't it. Such people as your present man will never be normal human being. He is out of life of normal people forever and you will never be happy with war criminal.

I don't have a habit of coming down on people but you are one sick individually. Who do you think you are?

If you know anything about the Bible, you would know God Himself sent men into wars ar times. God isn't pleased with communist countries.

Don't you have enough sence to know that we have men and women right here in our county that have given their lives so that all of us, and yes, even you, have the freedom we have.

Wars are about freedom, no matter where thery are fought.

In my eyes, you owe this young lady, along with every family in America that has lost a loved one due to war, and every veteran in America an apology.

Shame, shame on you.

I better stope here because what I really want to do is cuss you out and that is not my style.

I know that the Lord didn't call down here and ask me to help him judge anyone,(another one of my sayings).

Here is another famous saying we have all heard -
"We all sin and come short of the Glory of the God". That includes Buffy One. I have said it over and over, I sin daily and I do sweetie. I am no more perfect then anyone else on Topix, but I have tried to let my light shine. I guess this was a minute that the light went out.

Yea, I was wrong in the way I responded but that was about one of the meanest things I have ever heard sweetie. I can take people bashing others on here a whole lot better then I can a remark like this man made.

I am still shocked that an American citizen would say something like this.

None of us like wars but to tell a lady her husband is a war crimminal is so infair. That is a slap in the face to all Americans.

I recently moved back up 2 Tennessee from Alexandria, LA..that is where my husband & I lived for 14 years, we have 2 children (8yr & 10yr), I have some family that live in Morristown, but I found a nice place to live cheaper here in Rogersville, so we moved here. My husband, Mark, has been in Iraq for almost 8mo. but this is his 2nd time going over there. I worry about him all of the time, and I am sooooooooooooooooo LONELY..any advice? I'm new to Topix, but I hope I can make some friends, meet new people...
My advice to you is stop giving out so much info and stop telling everyone how lonely you are. I have read your post on other threads and you repeat you are sooooooooo lonely. Some sicko on Topix could get the wrong ideal. Talk to people and express your opinion without your personal history. People like Buffy One, Rog Vegas Woman and Tutti Frutti will talk to you and make you feel welcome.

To "USMC VET" - Thank you sweetie. I don't always agree with the way it is run but I love this country.

To "ToBuffy" - I never noticed that he was from Poland. But no matter where he is from, to me, if your fighting for freedom you're not a criminal.

The real criminals are people like the ones that had a part in 9/11.

The real criminals are the ones that put people in prisons that worship a living God.

The real criminals are the ones that take small boys and girls, put guns in their hand and teach them to kill.

To me the real criminals are the ones that strap on a bomb and kill innocent people in suicide bombings, wanting to become a martyr for the cause.

To me the real criminal are the ones that denounce America and yell, "Kill All Americans", or want to kill people in other countries because they stand for freedom.

To me, these are the real criminals.

I stand by American men and women that are out there fighting for my freedom and I stand by the ones that have already fought for us, our Veterans

If you get really lonely, try volunteering (this is the Volunteer state). The Humane Society need help, the hospital used to need help (Pink Ladies etc) and the schools where you children go could probably need a dependable substitute teacher. Also you and your children join/go to a local church. You might even want to check around to see if Ladies Of Husband's deployed has a group that meets. If they don't, might be a good time to start one. Just some suggestions. Don't start going to clubs and that sort of thing to meet people and if you get lonely. Also like stated, someone is always on Topix. I know human contact is the best, though. Look toward some of you children's friends parents (mothers) for friendship. Also, go to football games and other school activities. You have arrived in Rogersville at their most busy time of year. Welcome!!! And thank you, your children and your husband for serving our Country.

By the way "ToBuffy", I luv you to sweetie.

I would like to add, I hope everyone that can will come out next Saturday to Heritage days and tell a veteran at the "Vans for Veterans" bake sale just how proud you are of them. I'm counting on every citizen in this area, even if you don't have the time, or for some unknow reason you will not be going to Heritage days this year, please, please, at least take the time to come by and give our veterans the thumbs up. I wish John McCain lived around her. He sure would come by and shake their hands.

You could get a group of friends and have movie night once a week. Or got out to eat. Try going to some local churches, there are friendly people there, and you can make new friends. As Buffy said, you can go to the Vet. Bake sale this weekend.

You can always meet new friends when you get out and try. Good luck!

I agree with your sentiments, but I do not agree with our country sending our beautiful, courageous, and brave youth to fight wars that are not really about spreading freedom. This war is just like Viet Nam. One that can never be Won.

I see where you are coming from sweetie.
Honey, the bottim line to me is our military men and women ARE OVER THERE and even though we don't want them in harms way, we have to support them. They should by no means be called criminals by anyone in any country. That is my problem here, the man calling USA solders criminals. I am still not over what he said his to her. It cut me like a knife.

I know you are hurt and upset about the post from Poland, but you need to do what you do best..Pray and release the anger. People from all over the world think we are a war mongering country and that is a fact we can not change as individuals. That can only be done by the government, an' dey aint doin' a good job at dat..;)

MY ADVICE TO YOU:
TRUST GOD.
When there is no one in this world you can turn to or trust, YOU CAN TRUST GOD. My son drove for his unit and one day after he came back from Iraq we were talking and he looks at me and says "Mom, I know you were praying for me, I know alot of people were praying for me." And I said "Of course we were, son." But he said "No, I really knew. Do you want to know how?" And I said "Sure" and he said "Everytime I got into my truck, I saw ANGELS on both sides of me." I KNEW he was not kidding. The truck he drove had a bounty on it by the Iraqis. BUT MY SON FELT GOD AND HIS ANGELS WITH HIM EVERYDAY.

BE A PRAYER WARRIOR
You can pray for many things to happen and God WILL reveal these things to you. I know this is wild but the day our unit left out, my son was driving down Main Street. Well, I had my camera ready to take this picture of him. I could see it, right there. I was going to take a picture of him in the cab driving. I clicked and it said "disc full." I looked up at him and he said to me "I love you, mom." And then his truck went on by and the moment was gone. I didn't get to take the picture. The next morning, my husband called me to the back door. Someone had set two different pictures of my son EXACTLY LIKE I PICTURED HIM at my back door. The picture I had in my mind was even on the front page of the newspaper!!! WOW!!! DO I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES, DO I BELIEVE GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS!!!! AMEN!!!!

GO TO CHURCH WITH YOUR CHILDREN.
I strongly encourage you to find a good church and to take yourself and your children there. If you need help with that, I can also help you. You will NEVER know how much a good church family helped me, not just then, but they are always there for you...thru the good and the bad. Remember if you need a good church, I can help you with that, LET ME KNOW!!!

THE NEXT THING I WILL TELL YOU IS THIS.....
Loose the "LONELY WIFE" thing. For some reason, that does not sound good. No offense, please. I am SURE you are a lonely wife but on the internet it "SOUNDS" sort of BAD, OK??? PROUD WIFE OF A MILITARY MAN OR UNITED STATES SOLDIER sounds alot more like you are right there waiting for him and will be, no matter what.

DO NOT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU HEAR OR READ.
That was the first thing that my sons unit First Sergent said to us before they left. Unless you hear it from your Soldier, DO NOT BELIEVE all of the crap that the media shows you on TV or on the internet on in the paper, ect. Also, it WILL drive you crazy. Trust me.

KEEP YOURSELF BUSY AND STAY FOCUSED ON WHAT YOUR PART IN THIS IS.
Surround yourself and your family with POSITIVE things to do. Remember when you married him and exchanged vows and WHY. Now you have HIS wedding band on your finger. Well, that wedding band is a perfect circle. A perfect circle of trust. And "thru good and bad" you are there for him, OK???

KEEP IN TOUCH WITH YOUR HUSBAND AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. YOU HAVE THE INTERNET, SO DO THE SOLDIERS IN IRAQ.
My son had a laptop but if your husband doesn't there are usually places set up where they can use the internet. The men and women before your Soldier and mine literally forged the way for future soldiers to have a better life in the BIG SANDBOX in Iraq. Still, it's no picnic. I used to keep the internet open every night where Yahoo Messenger would pop up and I'd hear a noise from it and I knew it was my son. I never thought about it's 2 am here and 2 pm there. I just got up and we would chat for a while, heck once we even played a game of pool on Yahoo Messenger. And he was in IRAQ!!! I thought that was cool.
