I ask all tax payers to take time and drive up Carters Valley Rd which the papers said they are spending lots of money to pave and look at how good that road is already compared to others. To beat it all the county commissioners have went along with Mr. Bean to pave a road that does NOT need paving as bad as others. Check for yourself

If you would get out and ride over the roads instead of the ones he has paved in your CartersValley area you would see. Drive down Goshen Valley. ALL roads are all to peices. The employees and Bean have no clue what they are doing. Pot holes everywhere and you know what I see them doing? Killing time and hiding. Its a shame of how bad our roads have went to hell in the last few years. I live on 11w and travel a lot of our back roads in Hawkins County as a mail carrier and its sickening at the tall grass. Pot holes and stopped up ditches that cause water to stand in the road. I have reported it numberous of times with NO RESPONSE.

As I read all of these complaints about Bean and his crew I just can't resist the urge to say I TOLD YOU SO. You voted out a qualified man who did one hell of a good job as Road Superintendent for a really nice man who doesn't know his ass from a pot hole. Maybe next time you won't focus so much on what someone does on his personal time and focus on what his qualifications are.

The same standard should apply to all elected officials. Just look at all the scandals over the last few years.

My grandson could have done a better patch job with his rinks trucks than what immature idiots have made the mess of Burem Rd.(he is 5 by the way) Who in their right mind would have left the road in that condition? Yep, my vote is going to my grandson next election.

Burem is state ,they are doing a worse job than Bean.

Bean does not do a lot for the County Roads .This is another case of land the job, easy money ,Citizens gave up a long time ago trying to change the Hawkins County BS to many on the bandwagon to over turn it.
