Heard a couple at the pig and chick got thrown out because of their children crying? WHO do they think they are?! I was there eating and they had been there a very long time. I can totally see why the kids were getting restless.. I hope they don't return to give them business and i sure won't! Be ashamed Marti beets!! You're no better than anyone else.

You heard they got thrown out must mean somebody told you but if you were there how did you "heard" it instead of see it. Sounds like you got a big spoon & like to stir the pot.

It doesn't matter wether they were there or wether they heard it....either way pig and chick should be called out for being idiots. Who tells people to leave because of their children??? The Pig and Chick is not a fancy place and they barely have good food...why would you want to run off what little business you have???

And their friends are sharing the status. Sounds like they are just trying to stir shit for the pig n chick. Was the kid crying or being a total little hellion?

I was there. Kid crying because it was bored and hungry. Having to wait with a hungry kid. We all have been there. If I had waited that long, I would have left on my own.
Thats the way it is

I'm glad P&C kicked the whinny cry baby kid out. I'm tired of having to hear these brats bawl "I'm hungry, I'm tired, I'm bored" . Its all about the children. TOUGH. Now that I know P&C is a place where I can enjoy a meal without the distraction of some snot nose rug rat I'll be going there more often.

Not sure why this problem wasn't taken care of. P&C gives hush puppies when you order. Not sure if they still do but kids meals use to give jello cups. Why did no one, parents or wait staff not give/ask/bring the child something to appease it, like crackers or something?

They give crayons with kids menu. Must have been one loud kid that was out of control in order to be asked to leave. Was it in a high chair or was it running around?

If they are cracking down on noisy guest I will be glad. Always there at lunch and if RHC nurses are there with a certain group, I would stand up and clap if they ask those loud mouths to leave.

Thats why I don't go to the Puke & Choke Resturant anymore. They were rude to us yeara ago when my grandaughter started crying in the middle of the meal. They asked us to try and control her because other guests in the resturant were trying to enjoy their meals out together that night. So was I, but has anyone not had a child get upset or tired or hungry and need breast feeding in moments like this. I think we had enough sense to take the child out, but before we could get out, we were asked to leave, not take the child out. Thanks why Kingfish and his family have not been back. Also Big Guy better be glad he has a women to run the things and keep him straight because you see what happened at the motor company.

While I agree with you, I would very much like to know what happened at the motor company.

They are not in business to bring you plates for a cake you brought from home. Why not have the party at home? Oh, I know. So they can clean up your mess!

They're suppose to be in business for the customer without discrimination. I've also seen them be rude to customers without reason. They are very slow with their service on a consistent basis. That is why I've not gone there for about 3 years and will not go back. To each their own.

Personally, any place that asks people with crying kids to quiet them down or take them outside gets my business. I feel bad for the parents of a kid that's crying but I don't see any reason why the people at my table and everyone else should have to be uncomfortable in the interest of not upsetting anybody. I'd be curious how many people agree with me or would rather listen to some little kid wail while they're eating or trying to have a nice conversation with their company.

I was there last night there were 5 or 6 kids at that table ONLY TWO were screaming at the top of their lungs for well over an hour , this continued even after the had been fed ! This is a parenting issue , and a common since issue. If you can't control your children or you won't control your children in public places you should stay home and enjoy all their screaming and POOR behavior yourselves.

I have heard in past of slow and rude service so we have never been, plus trying their food at Heritage days I wasn't impressed at all.
Word of mouth in a small town is sometimes blown out of proportion, but when you heard complaints from at least 4 to 5 friends that has been there that's enough for me.

Now a child continuously crying I could not handle, If that was fact he case.

I think everyone has their own opinion of what good BBQ is. I've taken the advice of friends that said some place was great and tried it. I wasn't impressed. With that in mind, I've tried a few places that I heard wasn't very good. I agreed with their opinions about some places and disagreed about other places. Unless I hear a place is dirty, I'll give it a try and rate the quality of their food myself. So far, I'm glad I have this way of thinking.

I have ate there several time, I really enjoy their food. I too don't enjoy a bunch of screaming and crying! It's very annoying. Maybe you should give it a try, you may be missing out on something that you really would enjoy.
