Although she did good, she is not the only cop to shoot at the suspect so we really don't know yet who plugged the chitbag.

It's called "the vag effect". It makes newsies turn into babbling idiots anytime a woman does something "heroic".

Now, this is the correct way for a cop to kill the perp. Not 8 slugs to the back like Fong.

Ah, yes....another apologist.

So....being made fun of is an acceptable reason to commit multiple murder against the innocent?

Always the first argument of one unwilling to take responsibility for their own actions......"they made me do it" "its their fault"

Yet again, the world at large fails to realize that HE made a concsious choice to murder...no one forced him at gunpoint to do this....He chose to do so.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Sgt. Manley is married.

But I agree with you, any girl who can shoot and ride is tops in my book!

Understanding that this man obviously snapped, does not excuse his behavior, the blogger was only stating what may have been a trigger that set this guy off. No one is saying he shouldn't be held accountable. The laws have changed drastically since the 60's on the requirements of an insanity plea, but I am of the believe no one in their right mind commits mass murder. This does not equate to a lesser sentence and am confident he will never see freedom again.

This story is full of bull!
All Munley do is show up, shoot a few rounds and get shot.
It is her partner Sgt. Mark Todd who fired the shots that brought Hasan down and probably saved Munley's life.
Todd is the real hero!

Really? Ballistic tests are back already? I did not know that. In all seriousness, I agree with the basic premise of your post. Sgt Todd has, for the most part, been left out of the limelight when it appears he is just as much a hero as her. I guess this country is still enamored when a woman does a man's job (J/K!).

He was an American, where freedom of relegion is a right under our Constitution. This is not about relegion or ethnicity, this is about a deranged man who committed a horrific crime. To invoke and perpetuate hatred based on Islamic beliefs and color of skin, is ridiculous & contradicts what this Country was founded on. Unless you are a Native American, and I doubt that you are, you are no more American than the sick individual who carried out these homicides. What explanation do you use for the "white" Americans who make up 99% of those who carry out mass murders?
Let me respond to your gibberish! First, this is how we spell religion.

He was an American-No he is not, he is a muslim terrorist. Once you murder innecent Americans in the name of your faith, you are no longer allowed to be called American.

Where freedom of religion is a right under our Constitution-Yes it is, until you murder innocent Americans in the name of your terrorist religion.

This is not about religion or ethnicity-As Major Hasan shouted "Allah Akbar", while he was shooting our military soldiers.

This is about a deranged man who committed a horrific crime-Yes, he was deranged, hated this country, and he did commit a horrific crime in the name of islam.

To invoke and perpetuate hatred based on Islamic beliefs and color of skin, is ridiculous & contradicts what this Country was founded on-Then why is it the muslims seem to be the only ones here killing innocent people in the name of islam?

Unless you are a Native American, and I doubt that you are, you are no more American than the sick individual who carried out these homicides-I am native American because I was born here, so that makes me American!

What explanation do you use for the "white" Americans who make up 99% of those who carry out mass murders-Stick to the topic of this thread Major Hasan killing 13 brave Americans. Not your liberal, democratic blame it on "whitey" response.

"no place for hatred"-This is the place for hatred, hatred of scum sucking muslim terrorists!

I think there is probably room for two heros in this story, don't you? We don't need to lessen Munley's role to honor Sgt. Todd as well. Congrats to both for a job well done.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Aries

There's a lot of tension in the air, with certain people poised to spit the dummy, as Mars turns retrograde in your fifth house of romance, children and speculation. Confrontations are likely. If these are nothing to do with you and you just happen to be directly in the firing line, your best bet is to make yourself scarce. But if you are responsible for their outraged feelings then you need to face the music, otherwise things will only get worse.
