For all of those who bitch about how Onaway is a bad place to live then leave. Instead of bitching do something about it, find a way to get the litter cleaned up, do something about the condemned houses, keep your young teenage girls(13-15) in the house and away from men such as Kenny Dangler.

Yes, well said! But I hear is bein put away for years.
But what about those other boys that were with him? Like that Morrel boy. He seems to like the young gurls I hear.
I hear that the one, Kevin is already out of jail?
Did I hear right? I heard that he is no better than Kenny Jr and has an apetite for the young girls to. So parents of young girls better be ware.

Well yes Kevan is out of jail, but he isn't the one that goes for the younger girls, but the Zac Morell boy does. In fact there was a like bet going on in Onaway High School with the boys trying to see who could sleep with the most girls, one of the girls Zac had slept with was in the 8th grade while he was a senior...

If this type of sexual behavior is happening, why are you not calling the eight grade girls parents, or letting the school know? It seems this girl in the eight grade would be a victim. The age difference is not acceptable in any court of law.

Well it was investigated, but no charges. Can't call the parents without proof... Nothing can be done without proof, so its all hearsay. And in court of law nothing can be done without, need more then hearsay. So unless either people admit to what happened nothing can be done but to warn parents

That is really to bad. I would be checking up on the kids more. The internet needs to be checked on also. Kids can really get miss lead and talked into very risky situations. Kids seek attention in all of the wrong ways sometimes.
So this older boy is no longer in school?

The older boy is no longer around. The mom found a sugardaddy and moved down south. He was never really supervised. His dad has been in the county lock up for a while and his mom just didn't care. The mom has quite a victim complex herself. Won't take responsiblitiy for anything.

/so one went to jail. One is out of jail.... recently,,,, and the other one, Zac is no longer in school.
I hope this school keeps a eye on situations with kids, especially jr. high students, and high school students. I know all of the high school kids do not display this type of behavior, but for the ones who do.... It does make one concerned, as these younger girls can be lead so easily.

AS for the three mentioned,,,, if they are no longer in school, they should not be around school during school hours. I hope that is inforced.

Kenny Graduated years ago but since the sellings of drugs everyine still knew who he was, and jus because they re out of school doesn't mean they will leave the little girls alone, look at the 14 year old is pregnent by a 20, that she isn't even sure who is the father.

This is so true,,,, it is hard to keep watch over them with the way things are today. The fourteen year old and the twenty year old,,,,, even if he was not the father,,, and had a sexual realtionship with the girl....her parents could press charges on him. In fact so could DHS. This is not acceptable..... however, if they are the parents that seem to not care...I would feel sorry for the girl.

I know what I would be doing, if that was my daughter.

Yes it tru, they could press charges. But he did get charges pressed on him by the state. And what exaclty eould you do if your daughter brought home a man older then her? You know there are other ways then her bringing him home, the football games and basketball games you all drop you kids off at.. Ha ha all they have to do is get back in time for the game to end, and ask someone the score.. Before with your children, raise them well and lay down rules and you won't have much to worry about check on them wherever they go and who they are with

If she brought him home, I would simply enlighten him that he is not allowed to be around her or I shall seek enforcement of my wishes through law enforcement. If you did not do this,,,knowingly allowing her to partake in this relationship..... it would be "failure to protect" So the parents could also be in trouble for not doing some intervention.
As far as the ball games,,,,I agree ask them the score. Go a bit further and show up at the game at half time....if she was not where she suppose to be,,,she would not be going again.... Tell her up front this is the "deal". After all who wants their fourteen year old to be a "mom". There are hardly more then babies themselves. Parents need to form support groups on how to handled these situations.

I agree, but don't be afraid to discuss with your daughter how she should react in a sexual situation. Wanted or unwanted. don't leave it up to the school for the sex talk. Talk about protection and waiting. Discuss STDS and PREGNANCY... Don't shy away and don't be scared to talk about it. Tell them stuff such as "having doesn't mean your in love". Tell them even if the boy they like says you'd have sex with me if you love me, that they doesn't love them that much.

Jus because those three are out of school doesn't mean there won't be other boys like them

Yes, we certainly see eye to eye on that subject. Educating your childen should be your job, as a parent. TELLING them what is out there, and the stats on how many young girls can get sexually transmitted diseases. I am glade I do not have kids in school, but grandchildren and neighborhood children are always a concern, especially now days.
I would not leave it up to the school to explain such a subject to my child, if I did have one in school.
The school can do very well in some circumstances but they also can do to much family medeling also.
Another subject.
I agree there is many more young males out there whom seem to think they have the right to take advantage of these young girls. Not just those three. That subject starts at home also.... explaing to them how much trouble they could get into by messing around with these younger kids. I would make a beleiver out of them one way or another. A trip to the sheriffs dept, explaining the consequences of taking indencent liberities could be a trip well worth the time. It could save both the young man, and the girl.

Daily Horoscope for November 26

Gemini

Your eleventh house of friends and associates is activated by the Moon in Aries and it's time to go out and play with your friends. Even the Twins, who have been somewhat reclusive lately, will benefit from socializing tonight. A sense of relief will take hold when you realize that no one really has a better life than you. Sure, it might seem like someone else has a more glamorous existence, but if you could be a fly on the wall in their bedroom, you'd find they have nightmares, too!
