We also bought a dog from Nancy back in DEC 2007. Its a schnoodle. My wife and i drove all the way to Ferrum Va from NJ to get him. Thank God he did not have any majir medical condition except for 2nd stage gum decay.
When we went to her house it was a shock. There were more than 50 dogs and one orange tabby at her place. Front yard had a 1 yr old Rotweiller who was more skinny than a baby deer. There were atleast 7-8 puppies in the front as well. Inside the house there were dogs, puppies and more puppies! It smelled weird in there. There were more dogs in the back yard. All of them were adults. Most of them were pitbulls and there was also a black labradoodle.
Cutting the long story short.. we got that schnoodle and left. We are also proud owners of 2 cats. When we got the dog he was 1 and the cats were 6 Months old. In a couple of days we found out that he has separation anxiety. He was not even house broken. After 3 yr of training he has become better. But he still has separation anxiety. He gets scared of anything moving fast, sticks and jackets. God knows if she used to beat him or not. I am just Glad he has no health issues!

I also have gotten a dog from her that needed immediate medical care. Please if anyone has had any dealings with this woman or knows someone who has please post an e-mail here and I will get in touch with you immediately as I check this every day. She is still answering ads for purebred pets to give away and then breeding them to death. People are finally speaking up about her trying to get something done. Maybe together we can all get it done. This woman needs to be stopped for good. There is someone who says she can get it done but she needs everyone who has dealt with her in any way to come forward. Please help!
I just put down a deposit on a puppy from Nancy Felter, and am planning to go pick up my puppy in the next couple weeks. Now I'm reading all of this, and I'm very concerned. I paid via Moneygram, so I can't get my momey back, and I really still want the puppy. Can you contact me regarding this woman, so I know what I've gotten into? Thanks! [email protected]

You dont have a case, sorry. Unless you can prove that the person who sold you the dog knew that the dog had the disease. It has to be intentional. Without a contract or written guarantee you have nothing but the vet bills.

Just got word Nancy AKA "Nan Elter" (the name she now uses on Facebook) lives in Wytheville. She apparently has yorkies for sale, and as a animal advocate I am fearful and worried for these babies. I you guys can provide ANY additional information. PLEASE email me at [email protected]
