Dispute Over Overtime Pay for AT&T Managers Goes To Trial
A lawsuit by 200 front-line managers for AT&T in Connecticut, who claim they should be entitled to overtime pay even though they supervise technicians, is scheduled for a trial beginning Monday in a hotly debated area of law that has grown all the more contentious as corporations push their white-collar workers harder.

if these employees are salary workers, then HOURLY wages are not part of their compensation. if they work 1 hour or 100 hours per week they recieve the same salary. so overtime pay is not a factor. in my opinion......

Please don't comment if you really don't know what ur talking about..... The suit is for misclassification... The actual function of what they do and how.... Well read it first. This short article does not represent what is REALLY going on here.

tell me the facts i'm missing? seems to me that it is ANOTHER union issue, where people who make salaries want overtime now. more entitlements. granted they work many hours and i'm sure the work is difficult at times, but everyone knew what they were getting into when they accepted their job.
