Jim O'Rouke is a nice guy, he should resign and get a job with the state with his connections. Who needs the grief? It's obvious this woman was crazy and Jim tying to help someone probabaly was DUI and did not want to call the cops.

Give the guy a break!! He was trying to bang some drunk, crazy broad in an industrial park and things went wrong. Let he among us hasn't done the same thing cast the first stone.

The headline...is this the new Courant, and did they get rid of all of the editors? As to O'Rouke, a call to 911 would have been the correct way to go unless he had something to hide. How could he have just left her out in the cold knowing she was inebriated, had no coat on, no purse or shoes? How could he just go home to bed?

Simple case of politician screwing around on his wife....and trying to hide it. This is a no brainer.

The headline shows why the Courant is going in the toilet - it's not even readable - and you don't need to be an English teacher or scholar to see that. Holy cow...it's just painful.

A new low for Courant headline proofing. I'm not sure these middle-school interns are working out.

Apparently the editor's position has been outsourced to a foreign country too.

I bet Chris Keating is happy to see his name at the bottom of this dyslexic & convoluted excuse for an article.

Yes, I believe they did, and thank God. Now we have headlines that are real "eye catching."

So let's see - his thinking was - call the cops and face a DWI or let her die...

Nice to know our state rep chose his best option - let her die... Nice to know...

Thanks for staying on the O'rourke story. He is morally responsible for her death. Even if not criminally, but, without your staying on the story, it would have been buried .
Legislators don't have to adhere to the same laws the rest of the public does.

This is a no-brainer. O'Rourke allowed this poor woman into his car, probably thinking he'd 'get some'...They fought, and he threw her out. It's time this man own up to his acts and face the music.
