Friday night I was Craving some steak or ribs and went out to eat. All the restaurants were absolutely packed and parking lots full. About to give up I pulled through Applebee’s it was the same however Soulman’s BBQ had only a few cars. I had never eaten there so I thought I got lucky and BBQ sounded really good. When I went in side it was 8:45pm and it was very quite with only a few folks eating in the whole place. As I walked up to place my order the guys were rude as hell. I asked a question and the guy just walked away and got on the phone. Two other guys were standing behind the bar and one started yelling at the guy on the phone not to take any more to-go orders because it was almost 9pm. Still standing there the guy yelling says abruptly to me “What do you want! I requested some sausage, brisket and started to say what else I would like with it. Again he abruptly told me to get a tray and get it myself. I was taken back by how rude they were and ready to walk out right then but I was determined to get some BBQ.
The charge was over $13.00

My first bite was the sausage it was cold, then I tried the Brisket covered in sauce
and it was cold! I spit it out! I tried the Mac & Cheese and it was cold too! I took my plate right back and told the guy (that had already been rude) that everything was cold.
He gave me a hateful looked grabbed my plate and said there was nothing wrong with it. I said touch it, it is no even warm! He said “I don’t need to touch it, I cooked it I know what it is” I laughed, and you are proud of that no wonder every restaurant in Rockwall is packed and you only have eight customers in this whole place! He looked at me like he was going to come across the counter and hit me. I was shocked and felt I was being threatened by his glare of hate, I then demanded my money back and left. I will never go back to that place the food sucked and the employees have a real attitude problem.

IF you ever do go to the Royse City location - be prepared to wreck your vehicle in their dirty, rocky, dusty, diesel smelly truck parking lot with rude people. The condition of the parking lot is pathetic. You will need a car wash and new air filters after chumping down lousy food.

No he was a fat guy appeared to be in is 40s claimed he was the one who cooked the food so I dont know if he was the manager or just a cook that also has to serve the food and run the register. The owner must have his head in the sand if he is not aware his Rockwall store is in trouble. I am surprized they can keep the doors open with no customers

I'm a black woman from Arkansas. I went to a Soulman BBQ in Van Texas to have dinner on June 26: To my surprise the employees were all white and their attitudes was terribe. Very unfriendly. I should have known because the name misrepresent the restaurant. Anyone that never been would think it was black own. Hate that place.

Out 276 about 10 miles out on the right but before you get to 1565. Been building a new resturant that is looking really nice. It's been a slow going out there but it looks almost done.I think Richard has been either doing as he can pay for it or doing it all himself. He is very talented and that might be the case. I can't wait til he opens!
