LOCAL DAD

I realize there is already a thread about Shenaniganz on the board, but I read the first twenty or so comments months ago and decided that it wasn't a place for my family. My son was invited for a birthday there last Saturday so I came in when the party was over. The comments that were first made were either with mal intent or out dated due to the business getting its stuff together. I brought my family back later that night and got great service and didn't feel like I needed a platinum credit card to enjoy myself. I am starting this new thread so those that are currently looking into Shenaniganz can get relatively recent information. It is exactly what Rockwall needs and with their specials they run throughout the week it should fit into most people's budgets.

So glad somebody started this post. I have never been so impressed with something in Rockwall. The place is gorgeous and blows any other family entertainment out of the water. Their cajun fries are delicious.

Yep. Couldnt agree more. I didnt go myself for a while because of things I read here. Regret it now. I think its right that someone had some hidden agendas in the other thread. They treated my family and I great and we all had a great time. Nuff said.

Went there for an office party last year and had loads of fun! Great stressbuster for adults, too.
Can't wait for the holiday party this year in February. Thanks, Ripp family for turning an empty building into a gorgeous place for people of all ages to enjoy themselves.

Don't always believe what you read, especially when it's negative comments. You have to experience Shenaniganz for yourself, then you will realize that the negative comments about us are not true.
We have strived to making everyone's first experience here at Shenaniganz not their last!. We have come a long way from a year ago. Shenaniganz is here to stay!
Please continue in letting us know of your good experiences, and even if it's not so good, we want to hear on where we can improve.
We have a great management team and want to help in creating good memories for you and your family!!

I agree, the entertainment aspect is awesome. The food is seriously lacking, especially for the cost.

I have spent the last 2 New Years Eve's at Shenaniganz with my family of 3, my sister and her husband and we had a blast! We got to bowl, play pool, go-cart and lazer tag, plus the game room. I had no idea how much fun lazer tag was!! The whole experience was awesome! Love this place and am so glad Rockwall is home to this fun palace...

You definitely do not want to use this board to make decisions about anything in Rockwall. Most of the people who comment are old-timers who hate anything new in town. We have always enjoyed going there and continue on a regular basis. Plus this business is good for town. It employs young people and contributes sales tax revenue.

$350 for my 7 year olds birthday party. Pizza is the same as CiCi's.
GREAT lounge for adults even if you don't drink.
Spend it, eat it, then decide.

Shenaniganz is awesome. The prices are reasonable. I just wish there was more for the younger kids to enjoy!

My Gosh! Parker is at it again. He waited a reasonable time, but started up again with his advertising. This is not the place, unless someone asks for a recommendation, but I am sure Parker will pick up on that and pretend to be someone else and recommend this place again, and again. If that place isn't making it there is a reason.

Why do you think this is someone advertising? Just curious.

Sorry to disappoint you, "USA Citizen", but the post you are reading right now is the first I've made in 2010. But if you ever want to come in and discuss in person how we can improve, I'll buy you a cold (insert favorite non-alcoholic or alcoholic drink) and one of our stone-hearth pizzas!
