I can understand your frustration, things like that have happened to us in the past at various places in different towns. What I can say is that many years ago starting while I was still in high school (many, many years ago!) I waited tables in a small Rockville cafe and also at Turkey Run Inn for a time and sometimes for various reasons things like this can happen and it is not always indicative of what the "norm" is at a restaurant. Not to toot my own horn but I was a very good waitress and very much enjoyed the "regulars" and the "out of towners", many customers would ask for me specifically when they came in to dine. But I have to admit that there was this one time that I had waited on an elderly couple that were staying at the Inn on vacation just traveling through the county and after I took their order I must have had a brain fart because I would have sworn I turned it in right away,(we were not busy at all), and some time later when they asked about their order I realized it was still in my pocket!! I was mortified and embarrassed! I apologized profusely and they were very understanding. I was grateful for that but to this day still remember it and feel bad about it, that was not something that I had ever done before or ever did again!! It could be that the service there really is bad or could be that a new waitress came on duty and thought you had been waited on already, it is hard to say but local businesses do have a hard time so I hope that you give Pizza Hut atleast one more chance before you decide that the service is always bad. My husband and I have been in there many times over the years and some waitresses are better than others but I don't recall ever having really bad service whether they are busy or not. Please reconsider, I have always thought that every young person should have to wait on tables for just a few months to get the feel of customer service before they make their way in life. It can be very humbling to realize just how difficult it can be!
