Notice how the husband pleads to show her picture and they failed. She probably got hit by a car/truck and was tossed into a neigboring yard.

Either I'm confused, or things aren't adding up with this story. She texted him that she had a flat and he didn't know she was missing until the school called hours later? Agree with others on here, 135 is REALLY busy at that hour, nobody saw anything? Went by 135 a few minutes ago, it's closed N/B and there's at least 6 choppers in the air around the area. Anybody know what's up?

I agree, something's not right. They have been looking for this woman almost 48 hours now. I was on the 135, Monday, 3:00pm, heading North. There were at least 8 cop cars, several unmarked vehicles and motorcycle cops riding the guard rails looking below, in addition to cops on foot. At first, I thought a child had been abducted because the exit ramp is near a school.

The husband did it.

The hubby killed his wife somewhere else, drove his wife's car to 135 before it got light, gave it a flat, texted himself from his wife's phone and then ran home. He forgot to leave the cell phone with her purse at the scene.

Check his boat and his truck and his garage.

I'll bet the cops have already made a cell reservation at the Nassau County lock up for this bad actor husband.

Why would someone text they had a flat tire? My wife would call me to find out what to do and if I could help. He never followed up how she resolved her situation. My guess is at 3:00 o'clock this turd drove the car out there shortly after dumping her body somewhere like bethpage state park.

I heard on the Boomer/Carton radio show on WFAN that the couple had a fight on Saturday night, but had made up, according to the husband. This sounds like the case back in the 1980's when Lisa Solomon was "missing", and they found her body in a bag in a deserted field off Pulaski road. They soon arrested her husband, Matthew Solomon for her murder. Who knows what happened, but I hope they find her safe.

It's amazing how many husbands are SO stupid. I don't know why they think THEY will be the one to get away with it. Peterson, OJ, Solomon, etc...etc.
And everytime they open their mouths they look even more pathetic.
Good luck guy. You're a gonner.

According to today's "Daily News";

"A close friend of the woman told the Daily News she was distraught after a "blowup" with her husband Saturday.
Lucas Bean, who has known Leah Walsh since they were in college at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, said she text-messaged him while driving from her parents' house in Rockville Centre to her apartment in Bethpage.

"She was telling me that things are not going to work out with her and her husband, and she had to tell me something very important, but she needed to wait till she got out of the car with him," he said.

"She was in the car with him texting to me," Bean said. "That was Saturday around 7 p.m. They were in a huge fight."

Bean, 32, who lives in Los Angeles, said he never found out what the fight was about and didn't learn that Walsh was missing until a reporter called him.

"I'm the last person to talk to her," Bean said after talking to the detective in charge of the probe.

He said Leah and Bill Walsh had been married for a few years, had separated once and had reconciled only recently."

...enough said.

Wow, very interesting. Sounds like it is just a matter of time before they arrest him for murder. Should make for interesting news. All I know is I am going to the caribbean next week eating shrimps and lobster, drinking like a fish and smoking cubans while this guy will be eating baloney sandwiches in central lock-up. Life is awesome!!

Several observations: Why would she text, when in an emergency a voice message is better? Check the cell tower data and they can pinpoint where the "text" was sent from. And, yup, sounds like another husband trying to save the legal fees of a simple divorce.
