you know if this was about the students that would be one thing. but it is not it is all about money that is all it is ever about.. it is never about the students or childern and that is a shame. i am a mavern resident and i dont like what is going on with this..i wish that student could go where they want to go and get the best education and do the best in school..when i was going to school i could go to three differant schools from where i lived, why can't people just leave things alone and let the students get what is best for them not what schools get the most money for that school get.. i think it is very sad.. unhappy malvern resident

i am one of the parents faced with "THE LETTER". however i am not involved with the lawsuit. i had requested (in person) for mr golden to not make my children attend malvern district and gave hime the reasons even promised to bring verifying documents from DHS, my kids councelors and doctor stating that they need not be removed from the district they are in. he denied the request. magnet cove, where my children have been for four years now, gave me 2 days to prove residency (state law says 10 days if i remember correctly). or drop my kids from their school. they have known for a while that i married and moved out of their district. we sold our house new years day and are moving into a suitable distric. however it will be almost a month before we are able to completely be moved out of the malvern district. i contacted mr golden today to request my children remain at magnet until our move is complete. again, request denied! my husband graduated from malvern and can barely read or do basic math. need i say more about the education that a child can get from malvern school district. i want my kids to be happy, healthy and successful in every aspect of life. it isn't going to happen in malvern. we all have our reasons for "breaking the law". i only posting this because i want everyone to know that is "ALL ABOUT THE MONEY" and not "WHAT'S BEST FOR THE KIDS"!!!!!

I am the mom who my my children out of the district several years ago because my child was sexually abused at Malvern Junior High. Everyone who has had a negative experience at Malvern or knows of a negative experience needs to write a letter to the editor (200 words or less) and let the residents in Malvern know that things are going on in the school district that is being kept quiet. It has been happening for years and it is time We the people the tax paying citizens the people Malvern School District is receive their paychecks from are not going to tolerate what is happening any longer. No more cover ups. Years ago the Malvern School Superintendent was fired and the school board was asked to resign. If we stand together this could happen again.

Yes. these students have the right to go to any school of their choice. Malvern school thi nks they can do anything they want to do, NO MATTER what happens to the kids. My grandkids had to move from Malvern Junior High several years ago, because of the sexual harresmemt. It is still going on NOW TO THIS DAY!!!!!!!!!! That is why parents are fleeing to keep their children SAFE. Every one that has a problem with this needs to stand up and be counted, for our kids sake. also, this is one reason Malvern is not growing as a community, there is toooooooo much cover up. It cracks me up how people say it is all about the money and not about the kids! Well guess what??? It is about the kids! Brian Golden and the school board care enough about my kid (who goes to school at Malvern legally) to want to keep money in the district. Do you think your kids are the only kids that matter? No! My child matters too!

Yes it is all about the kids and what is best for the kids, but all the money in the world can not keep our kids safe, THAT'S WHAT IT IS ABOUT! HAve you ever had one of your kids threatend to be raped, a nd then killed because they told, an d the school not to anything about it! Well it did mine and alot more girls also. This did not just happen to mine, that is why the students are moving illegaly, or what evev way they can. THey had Carthage kids bused in here, it is still not enough money. what is it going to take to keep Malvern running, maybe better management of our money, for just one thing. It's about introducing your children to black children and their indigent behavior. They need to feel that they are to blame for the actions of the black race. They are not of course, but this is how the powers that be feel. Stand up for your right to be White. It is not the White races fault that blacks continually fail, it's their own. Why does everything come down to race. We are talking about school, and their lack of caring what happens to the kids. what happened 12 years ago, was blacks boys against black girls and white girls, white boys against both black girls and white girls, They didn't care what the race was or is today. as long as they can touch or do what ever they want. This is "2009" yall need to grow up.. this is not a race show .. Everyone should be able to work/go to school with any race. If so, that is probably one of the problems and why parents do NOT want their children attending there. I attended Malvern, and happened to be one that could ignore the problems or dealt with them myself or through my peers. I DIDN'T want my children attending Malvern and having to deal with the issues in the classrooms and hallways that I had to deal with..........

Front page news, Malvern is suing the other schools for MONEY, tell me this is not about money. All the money used to hire the Little Rock lawyers, are they more impressive. no they are into this for is the money, money money money. dosen't matter what the parents want or feel like is right for THEIR children, its about what Malvern wants to do. they spend ALL this money on lawyers, and peeping toms trying to find out for sure where everyone live, going thru out tax records, to see where everyone lives, this cost money folks. Now they want our kids to come into a school that is unsafe, and it is!!!!!!!!!! Malvern wants us to shop Malvern, lets boycott all of Malvern, lets see if that helps us any.
