Feb 9, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Politico

Rachel Magnuson, Schwartz's chief of staff, confirmed the congresswoman's interest to POLITICO Friday night after Capitolwire reported that Montgomery County Democratic Chairman Marcel Groen said Schwartz was "80 percent of the way" to launching a bid for the Democratic nomination.

It's a shame that the founding fathers couldn't see the weakness of what made the original 13 colonies. They have mostly turned against everything they initially stood for.

Yes, especially like Arlen Specter and John the traitor Murtha. Such class acts.

You have a GOP Governor and a GOP controlled House & Senate. If Pennsylvania is still screwed up then it's the GOPasaurs fault.

You should be worrying about Michigan and its 40th year in their rust belt five year plan. Every state has demographics with poverty as an example and more. There is a higher percentage of elderly then normal in the state as another example. Philadelphia takes a chunk of the state taxpayers money to keep it running and it increases more and more as the city falls further behind as another example. People will leave states and localities to greener pastures to survive if you keep this up taxing everyone to poverty.

If what you say is true, then it's the voters fault. They select their representation..........just like Chicago does.

Actually I voted for the GOP across the board in Michigan in 2010 to give them a chance to "fix" the economy like they claimed they would if only they were in total contrl. Well they got total control of the House & Senate & the Gov mansion and the FIRST thing they did was to RAISE TAXES on on all the retired autoworkers! Then they started passing bills to ban abortions and ban any private company from giving any benefits to same-sex couples and all sorts of other divisive social issues.

So much for the GOPasaurs focus like a laser on "jobs jobs jobs".

Thankfully the people now see what the GOP will ACTUALLY do when given the chance and we'll correct that in 2014.

And what are the Dems doing to bring back the glory days. Nothing. Taxes are high and getting higher because of mandates. Hamstringing any growth. Cuts in services are appearing in different degrees all around the nation. Paying others for the past continues while those in the present and future are floundering at different levels. Politicians are limited in what they can do unless things are ramrod through like the progressive Obamacare and what has increased since January 1. I have been taught. Do things right and they take it. Steal it and anything else. Play the system and you get paiddddd! And tens of millions of others are starting to believe...it will get worse.

I'm a Pennsylvania and let me say we hate Tom Corbett. He's destroying this state and educational system since becoming Governor. It's time to get him out of office.

Just like the GOPasaurs ramrodded through their tax INCREASES in Michigan?

I'll take the Dems back in charge any day, and we'll all be voting to ensure that happens in 2014.

Obama returns to campaign mode, visiting three cities after State of Union speech

President Obama will travel after his State of the Union address Tuesday night to three U.S. cities to discuss proposals in the speech that focused on “strengthening the economy for the middle class and those striving to get there,” White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said Sunday in a statement.

Still campaigning.......still flying in circles. Anything to be away from Michele.......

There are rumors you pass yourself off as a libertarian. Most of the people that bought those lemons for decades were independent or Repub voters. They had something called loyalty. The only major group who had any loyalty from the progressive side were African Americans who are union believers. You don't know how many people I used to ask or tell to buy American and get rebuffed for it. Purchasing all of those pieces of chitt cars over the years and being treated worse by the dealers when problems with our version called domestic yugos/ladas happened. Auto retirees should be embarrassed collecting checks for what they let come out of those factories. Going for every last cent and not pushing the designers to improve reliability will forever mar the rust belt and the thinking continues today. To the Asians....you won!
