It's the Lee Butz factor. Every time this suburban hypocrite shoots his mouth off about how safe and friendly downtown is, someone gets murdered or a major drug bust goes down. I'm so sorry to see Lee's pals get busted. I'm sure they are all so nice and friendly.

I agree with you, it is obvious what goes on in a barbershop these days, I take my son to get his haircut and I see right before my eyes a drug deal, these guys go to the back of the business to hussle. I sometimes wish I could do the cops work for them since they seem to be driving by all this action.

Obviously NOT nitwit!! If it were only as easy as you think. And to remind you, you're commenting on a report of a huge arrest. This arrest took the cooperation of a complainant to the police, observation to warrant further investigation, controlled buys by u/c officers, documentation, surveillance, tracking of suspects to ascertain who is the supplier and who the suppliers supplier is. Then there is the ability to role all of this up into a case that will stand up in court, take down the suspects roll all of them into one another to corraborate all of your efforts through their own words and exstrapolate as much intel info for the next investigation. Putting it plainly, "it ain't an our of CSI on liberal TV."
Great Job everybody involved in the arrests, only too bad nobody was reaching when you hit the door. It might have saved a few tax dollars!!

Just another example of the scummy buisnesses along Hamilton Street that need to be shut down and the buildings demolished.

How many more of them are there?

Let me get this straight, the owner was not charged? It was happening in his business? As a person who actually lived next door, 1023 Hamilton for a year back in 2003, the only thing that surprised me is that it took this long for them to get busted. There would be cars pulling up, someone run in and in a minute or two run back out. With a little black bag. Its a blight on the good businesses on Hamilton, close it for good!

Yeah, this is really something and it brings up a lot of questions like:

Could Lee and all of the Alvin H. Butts Co. people really be so ignorant and blind that they don't see what's going on all around them all day and night???

Or, are they involved in covering up the facts for their own financial gain???

These letters from Lee & Alvin Butts really seem like Political Propoganda of the type you might get from the Pawlowki campaign. I wonder who is really writing them???

Lot's of questions, few answers.

Thanks to all the professionals it took to shut this operation down. Probably just the tip of the iceberg, but you just might make it not so appealing to set up shop in Allentown

Allentown's easy access to major highways and close proximity to New York and Philadelphia make it a prime location for drug dealers, Corbett said.

let's face it there is a third factor here (otherwise they would all go to Doylestown or Eastern NJ.) The lax police force in Allentown, just drive through downtown anytime. If I can spot dealers on the corners you would think police can. The only answer for this is that they just don't really care.

Excellent work. Maybe others in the area will be discouraged by this huge bust. Thats an insane amt of drugs to have confiscated. Im glad they got as many people as they did involved with this. Way to go APD!
