good job there DEA! on behalf of 280 RECOVERING addicts and 15 HARD WORKING AMERICANS i want to thank you for destroying our hopes and dreams of beating the disease of adddiction with these people suffer from. now that you have closed the clinic, there are 280 addicts that are soon going to be willing to do anything to keep from getting dope sick. this includes buying pills, heroin, methadone etc. and soon they are going to be broke and needing to find $$$ to pay for their drugs, i.e., crime. so i dont know who wants their car stolen first but just post your name and address and i'm sure we can accomodate you. furthermore both my live-in girlfriend and i worked there so now we are now both out of a job. who is going to pay my rent in 2 weeks? i hope all of you people who made and help/encouraged this to happen are happy now. thank you very much you inconsiderate, self-centered, uneducated, stuck up, self righteous jerks. i hope you get what you deserve and these people rob every last one of you blind since you did this to them. heck i may even turn to a life of crime myself to pay the rent. how much is that blue ray player of yours worth at a pawn shop?

In response to the comment from the gentleman who used to work at the clinic with his girlfriend,I totally agree with you regarding the closed-mindedness of many people who would love nothing more than to see every methadone clinic closed permantly.I wish we could make them see the clinics are a life saver for many of us,and I wish they would come to understand the devastation this all causes, but..lets face it....they won't.
However, from what I understand, the owners of this particular clinic are the real criminals here!!! Talk about inconsiderate, not only did they not care about ANY of you, they were laughing all the way to the bank, with your money!!!

Best thing that ever happened. All it does is replace one drug with another. Some dope heads have been on Meth for years and can't get off that

i think having methadone clinics to help addicts get clean is a great thing but there should be some kind of a time limit on getting these people completely drug free. The way the clinics are set up now they are just legal drug dealers giving people a fix everyday and its just for there own personal gain.If these people honestly wants to be drug free then they would be ok with that.

I agree with you on that. As it is now, some have been on Meth for years. They don't care about getting clean as they are getting high on Meth. Some of the ones that can take it out in Portland, sell it for heroin or what ever they want. There has to be a better way, and another drug is not it when it makes them high.

Meth is an illegal drug when the druggies take it and sell it on the street for other drugs. All the Meth does is make the ones using it hi on it when it is legal to have. All it does is replace one drug for another. There is no way that a person on any drug will be clear of it until they have a place for them to go and stay there until clean, then most will start again. It's the same problem with any bad habit. You can't get clean on the street.

Google Dr Bob Beck and check out sharing health from the heart.
There is are a few rare lectures from him on you tube as well.
It would be illegal to suggest his method will cure addiction without withdraw symptoms in a few short days but he does print the plans for the device he developed based on a patent out of Albert Einstein University by DR Kaali ET AL although the patent was given for a cancer or aids cure ( i forget which) Dr Becks device based on their patent is remarkable.
Bob has passed but his community still supports his work.

Condemnation without investigation is ignorance so i made it easy for you.
Bob Beck - Dr Robert Beck
Energetic-Medicine researcher
1925-2002
Bob Beck - Dr Robert Beck was a physicist, who has to his name a D.Sc in science from the University of Southern California. Prior to USC Dr. Beck was a Professor at the University of California. Dr. Beck is known as a renowned researcher and inventor in the field of Energy Medicine devices. Amongst his achievements he is accredited with a version of the Brain Tuner. This device has been successful in helping to alleviate anxiety, addictions, insomnia and depression. As Bob Beck initially trained as a photojournalist he applied his inventive flair and curiosity toward flash photography. He was the inventor of the strobe flashlight. Bob Beck has been nominated by a Mexican hospital for the Noble Prize for his research in developing an Aids cure.
Bob Beck formed his first company specialising in the development of a powerful electroencephalograph unit. Through his company he conducted extensive research on the electrical properties of the brain. From this research was born a powerful electroencephalograph unit. After reading articles on a 'black box' device, developed by a British surgeon, Dr. Margaret Patterson, he became increasingly interested in the potential of electricity and the brain. Dr Patterson had developed this 'black box' with Dr Wong of Hong Kong an expert in electro-acupuncture. Though its inventors to help reduce symptoms of recovering drug addicts used this black box, Beck saw other potential for this device.
Bob Beck used research and technology from the black box to develop his own device. He called it the Brain Tuner. Based around the principal of frequencies it used over 200 specific frequencies to encourage the rejuvenation, healing, and rapid re-stimulation of the neuro-transmitters.
Bob Beck research then led on to look at the effect of electrical frequency on the lymphatic system. Working on the basis that many viral infections ay shelter in the lymph nodes, Bob Beck developed a magnetic pulse generator to induce electricity in specific nodes around the body. Beck's work in this field led Bob Beck to do much work with HIV and AIDS patients. His studies also highlighted ionic/colloidal silver as a natural antibiotic, providing a potential alternative to the somewhat clumsy approach of pharmaceutical antibiotics. Bob Beck went on to elaborate his research by creating devices able to make colloidal/ionic silver at home.
Bob Beck went on to lecture and give demonstrations at health trade shows around North America. It was at one such show in Seattle, in 1996 that a couple (Russ Torlage and Lesley Punt) came across Beck's device. Lesley Punt was suffering from M.E. of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and the couple were at the Seattle show looking for possible ways to alleviate her condition. They took Bob Beck's device and redesigned it, making it an accessible tool for public use.
In pursuit of improving the affectivity of the Bob Beck device Dr. Robert Beck introduced a protocol. Along with the both blood electrification the protocol also includes the making of ionic/colloidal silver, and the ozonation of drinking water, thus increasing the level of oxygen in the blood.
For more information on Bob Beck go to: www.bobbeck.com
or google sharing health from the heart
although he passed you can still get the plans and a parts list on his web site for free< THEY HAVE NOTHING TO SELL This is Dr Beck's gift to humanity the gift to heal yoyrself at home for literally nothing and once you build the device( there are for profit copying them but it is there for free.
the you tube video's are classic he is like Nickola Tesla, who if you dont know you should.

ignorance?? Wrong on that. I have been around and seen a lot of things like this. I read his story before I gave my opinion. That does not change my opinion one bit. Some say the work and others say not. The Feds say the same thing on things and they let things go for the special interest ones. What about Aspartame? They say it is OK. Yea, right. It causes alot of health problems. That is only an example of snake oil. If you think it is OK, you can fill up on it, and that would be ignorant. You may be too young to remember when they gave mental patiences shock treatments. You must think that is OK? Just another machine that has gone away. You can have your opinion and I can have mine, but that does not say I'm ignorant. Lets do another example. Do you think it is OK for Israel to kill our sailors and try to sink the USS Liberty. Our high ups in DC thinks is OK as they did not do a thing about it. Any other country would have paid the price. So, there are a lot of things that there will be talk over. I think again you are too young to know what is going on. It depends on who and what is put out there. If you look around you will find others think as I do.---- Good day.

I am a recovering addict these Methadone clinics fueled my dis.I had the hardest time a person could ever have trying to break free from these drugdealers. The Methadone clincs keep giveing me my fix everday as they do million of people everday there isn't a time limit there isn't a limit how much you take If so you can buy some from aouthers that go there to make a tidy profit.
I was a addict and thought these places were there to help the addict I was very young and stupid at the time after being on Methadone for about five years I found our that it was harder to get off of then the drugs I was on before.I ended up getting on Subutex and am now Total drug free.
Methadone is the strongest drug on earth anyone that goes to these clinics and say the don't get high ate just fooling thereseles and noone eles. There needs to be a time limit and a very low dose given to addicts becouse in the end you will be worse off then when you started. It's almost inposble to get free from these clinics.giveing a addict the choise to stop when they feel like they will never be free from there addiction.Methadone has it's place I don't know were it is are how long and how much should be given but. Methadone is and was twice as bad to get off of then the drugs I was on to begain with.
If you are a addict save you'er self some time money and missary and go to a treatment center and get you life back. Don't believe everthing these fools push on you.like one person talking about loseing there job that's becouse they want you to still use so they can keep a job. Please go get help while you are still alive and hopefully young enough to have a life instead if being a slave to these clinics and to Merhadone.I would rather be shot in the head then to take anouther dose of Methadone.Hitler made it for a reason and it us still killing people long after he is gone.the worst thing he ever did was make this drug av.
Sorry for my spelling and everthing eles my secretary types everthing out for me so Ive forgot to spell and the English la.Law School makes you forget about English.Drugfree five years!!!

I have something to say to those of you who are so close-minded you can't try to understand something you haven't gone through.

There are opiate addicts from ALL walks of life. Opiates, especially pain pills, are probably the easiest drugs to get a hold of first of all. The problem starts with docs who are writing scripts for their patients, & the patients sell them because they don't NEED them. Obviously not all Dr.s do this, but there are enough. Being raised by 2 doctors, I am very well informed on the medical field in general. If you have never been addicted to opiates, have never suffered the withdrawals etc., I ask you how you can possibly judge the methadone program? The main point I can make to you is that methadone is a completely different drug than your basic pain meds and even heroin. It does not give you a "high". If you are on the proper dose, it will allow you to function normally, and work toward sobriety. Of course there are patients who are on what I consider to be a high dose, but I remind myself that I am NOT them, I don't know how they feel or what they have been through. There are people in this world who have great pain everyday, and they will have to take something for it EVERYDAY.
For me personally, I am on a low dose of methadone- 50 mgs. and I do not get high from it at all. Not even a euphoric feeling. But I am very serious when it comes to my sobriety. I participate in group counseling sessions every month, and individual counseling as well. I take full advatage of what this program offers- the counseling is absolutely the most important- it made me understand why I abused opiates to begin with, I've had several "revelations" through those sessions.
I understand why people are not sure about these programs, but I ask you to at least hear both sides of the argument, which is what should be done in any situation. Find a legitimate source with real medical info. Try to be more understanding to another's situation. There will always be bad people in this world, in many different places. It is always a shame when those people ruin it for the good ones.
I really feel for those of you involved in this situation. To the first comment, Bruce- it really takes a special type of person to be able to help people abusing drugs. It sounds to me like you really cared about your job and probably most of the patients, too. Although I don't know the details of WHY the clinic was closed, it is without a doubt a terrifying setback to those involved.
I can't imagine if my clinic was shut down, because most of the people there are good people. There are some truly amazing and inspiring people at my clinic that have helped me to find my path in sobriety. Good luck to all of you who were affected by this. I don't know, but I wonder if there is a way to petition your county to open a public center? Or if a private clinic could be opened? Know there are people on your side!!

Those of you who've never been involved in this through one way or another, I ask you to find out the facts, and think with your heart. It's something that could happen to a family member, if not you, for some reason.. I think we should all be a little more sympathetic to the other's point of view! If you have no reason to know about methadone clinics then why would you??

Goodie for you. You are one of the low minority that it helps. The problem is you will have to be weaned off Meth some day. Maybe an island far out to sea would work as good. You can't convince me it is good to have. I know several people that it does not work on. Only another high. Drugs for drugs is all it is. Why is it that the majority are against the clinics. Because it is another place for the drug king pins to hang out. Are all the people in Warren dummies? Get off your soap box and you will see that most don't want people giving out or getting that drug or any drug. Don't forget this is America (what's left of it) and the majority rules. I really hope someday there will be a cure with proper help for you people. It is a terrible thing to go through. Yes, I know as I had a friend that died of an overdose. Good night

Sorry, but "speaking from experience" is NOT in the minority! I saw myself in his post and am here to appeal to those of you dead set against this medication based on preconceived notions and misinformation. A person on Methadone maintenance does NOT get high, this is based on not only my experience as a patient on methadone maintenance, but is medical fact- It is not trading one drug for another, and it does not produce impairment. Even though Methadone is a potentially dangerous drug, it is relatively safe for one who is opiate dependent, which like diabetes and hypertension, is a real physical disease. Like any other disease, treatment is necessary for any meaningful recovery. The opiate dependent person cannot simply quit "cold turkey" and expect any degree of success. Methadone eliminates the body's craving for opiates and once at a therapeutic level allow a person to become the normal function person he/she was before the disease of addiction. It is irrelevant the reasons why/how someone is in treatment, anyone can acquire this disease. Any family can be affected by it, and it occurs in all walks of life.

The benefits of methadone as a component of a comprehensive treatment program for opioid addiction have been validated by dozens of clinical studies and confirmed by numerous authorities in the addiction treatment field. Yet myths about methadone abound. The National Institute of Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health, the World Health Organization, and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, among many others, strongly support methadone treatment. For a condensed but thorough report shattering the myths of methadone, please refer to one of many science/evidence based studies/reports such as this one: http://netsteps.org/uploads/Methadone_Brochur...

Please don't judge, it may be you that this affects one day......
